There are many women who have had their surgery through Transform here hun and they get mixed reviews... I can't say I had the best from them myself, but like I said there are plenty of others who have been very happy with them :flowers:

If you'd like to save time then you could always call and ask if you're able to see a surgeon as you don't have time to come to the clinic twice. The PCC is nothing more than a sales advisor anyway so you'll be missing nothing at all if you don't see her. Your surgeon is the one you need to focus on. If you look for the surgeons who work for Transform in your area through their website you could research them yourself by checking their qualifications through the GMC register. There's a facility on the register that enables you to type in the surgeons name and they will reveal the surgeons qualifications. Its important the surgeon you choose is on the 'specialist register for plastic surgery' if they have a FRCS qualification this is the highest a surgeon in this field can get... Once youve done that, you may have a couple of surgeons in mind, google their names and look for reviews online from previous patients and from doing this youll soon narrow it down to the one you want to see. Then call the clinic as I suggested and tell them the little white lie about not having time to see a PCC and then to have to come back to see a surgeon, tell them the surgeon you want to see and don't except any excuses that the surgeon isn't available, stick to your guns for the surgeon you want! I assure you that if you stick to what you want, you will get it!

Its also VERY advisable to see more than one surgeon before booking anything hun... So whether you choose for that surgeon to be through Transform or anywhere else that's up to you but its in your best interest to have more than one consultation so you have at 2 surgery plans and surgeons to compare before booking anything, so you know that when you do book its because you absolutely know you did your best to find the best for your body.

This is a huge decision to make and its definitely not worth rushing babe, I know I said to bypass the PCC but they don't matter when it comes to your surgery anyway. What does matter is the surgeon choice! The surgery plan! And the aftercare you will be receiving!

Take your time and choose wisely Hayley and you will reap the rewards of your research later.

I'm sure there will be lots you didn't know that you will find out here so any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask and if its in our power to help... We'll be right there for you. Xx

Hey SmileyHayleii, who are the surgeons you're looking at? Like cookie says its definitely worth bypassing the PCC and seeing the surgeons instead - that's what I did with Transform. I only saw the PCC to discuss prices which can be haggled! (Eg the Pcc quoted me 3995 for an overnight stay and 3695 for a day case but I manage to get the overnight for 3745 by asking if she could move on the price - it's also worth telling them you have an appointment with Mya or anothe company as this will encourage them to lower the cost)

As far as I know Transform only have two hospitals - one in London and one in Manchester. I had my appointments in Birmingham but operation in Manchester.

Having read a lot of stories on this site and others I have seen a lot of positivity about Transform but I've also seen ladies who have had lots of problems with their aftercare. Luckily for me everything has been plain sailing so far and I can't praise the company enough but definitely be aware of the aftercare they offer so you know where you stand xxx

Hi smiley! I had my BA with transform 4 weeks ago and I can't fault them. I had my surgery at riverside in London. My pc was cool, although they are basically there to sell it, she never really made me feel like I had to go ahead! She explained what happened, the risks and complications, money, all the general BA stuff! She also filled me in on the surgeons at riverside and what they were like. She gave me their credentials and let me research and stuff before I decided to see a surgeon! Anyway, what I'm saying is, although pcc's are there as 'sales' people, mine was never like that! She still emails me now to make sure everything is fine and asks how I am and I am always able to email her if I have a question or problem.. At 2 weeks PO I thought I had an infection and she got me a same day appointment to see the nurse and all was sorted! Their aftercare for me has been second to none! It has been amazing! My surgeon was very straight to the point and abrupt but I liked that about him!

You know it all depends on how they make you feel when you meet them! For me they were the company to go with. I was charged £3695 because of the implant I chose (CUI) and was a day case but they add on £500 for an overnight stay and if you decided on impera (another implant they use) then that will also cost you an extra £795! However, I chose cui because the implants are exactly the same but impera has one extra layer of casing around it! You will be told this anyway!

But yes, transform were wonderful as far as I'm concerned. A lot of people have different opinions and experiences and hopefully you will get a fair few replies! Happy hunting and welcome to BJSF! X

Hi,
Im booking with transform. Like the other girls have said, the most important thing is that you feel happy with your surgeon, that he is able to give you the results you want and then what aftercare is offered.
Im going with transform because i researched the surgeon, met him and liked him as well as meeting other surgeons from other companies.
The PPC is a sales woman which is important to remember so dont base your descision on her! :)
Ive been quoted 4400 for a overnight stay but im having the 'premium inplant'. This doesnt mean that its better but it has one more layer to the implant and for me as im a worrier i decided to go with this. However, many women have the CUIs which will be the price your looking at of under 4000 :)

I have found them great im 4 weeks PO I had Mr Meleagros my surgery day was amazing and if anything is wrong I can get an appointment very fast :)

Had some issues with them at the beginning with communication and their staff going on holiday etc and not informing the next person about my information and what was happening with my payments etc but other than that they have been great and its been a wonderful experience for me, x

If Transform surgeons are your choice then they are a clinic that will haggle on price!

What will happen is after you see the see the surgeon, you'll then see the PCC to go over pricing. Its important that you just listen, take in the price and DO NOT BOOK on the day. Walk away and if you're 100% sure that the surgeon is the one for you, give it 3 or 4 days then call back and tell them you had another consultation with MYA and whatever price you were given, knock £400 off and tell them you were offered the surgery £400 cheaper with MYA. Tell them you really like the surgeon you saw at Transform though and if they can match the price you'll be happy to go with them... They WILL match the price :ok: they won't want to lose your business and don't worry, this is done all the time in this competitive business, so they expect a barter. This way, if you play the game, you'll get yourself a good deal.

In saying all that, I can't stress enough how important the choice of surgeon is and that choice should come before any sort of finance. If the surgeon you research is a BAAPS surgeon that won't haggle, do put your choice of surgeon before cost. Its great to get a bargain if you're getting the surgeon 'you want' but its not worth looking for a bargain boob job which could result in you ending out paying more in the end 'through complications caused by a surgeon who wasn't right for you. I can't fault transform had a lovely stay at the hospital and my PCC was brilliant and has emailed me back quickly with any questions I had. My surgeon appt was slightly running late but he spent a lot of time with me until I was happy. When I was unsure of size after I booked they got me in to try on implants again with no problems :) xx

The advice cookie has given you is fantasic as always and I would follow it to the letter. Remember the PCC's are sales people they will be as nice as pie to you and act like they really care like your best friend. They are sales people and they will tell you the moon is made of cheese if it would get you to part with your money there and then. Remember ask all surgery questions to your surgeon the PCC is not qualified. Do not feel pressured to book, do not make a payment to secure a date. Have a few consultations with other clinics as well.
I had my surgery with transform and 4 years later I'm still very happy. Would I use them again? I don't know, I think I'd look around. I don't like the reviews on when things go wrong and complications occur. I was lucky this time, but what if I wasn't next time.

Just got off phone with hospital group they quoted me £4095 for lifetime implants with mr mario Rossi and overnight stay. Any reviews on him? They have slot for 25th June which is ideal but she said it would go very quick by Saturday (consultation they offered me 25th sat) but I did mention I had consultation with transform maybe they just trying to get me to leave deposit? I'm abit scared that I'd lose that date :(
May try and haggle transform

Post by Nicole 16th May 2013, 10:04 pm

i had a consultation with mr russo through MYA bout 2 years ago, he was great! Read loads of reviews etc and was all set to book with him but had to wait a bit to sort out some other stuff with the NHS and by the time I was able to book he'd been suspended from the medical register! He's back on it now, i'm not sure what the reasons for the suspension were... there's a thread on it somewhere here, i think someone said about he wasn't following up aftercare or something? I'm not sure...

Also, they are DEFINITELY just trying to get you to put your money down there and then. THG offered me £500 off if i booked by the end of the week... i didn't ... and a week later the PCC rang me to say they could "extend the offer until the end of the month" I still didn't book (didn't like the surgeon or PCC) and she kept calling me offering me money off etc...

But the most important factor in your BA is the surgeon, make sure you choose a surgeon you're comfortable with. If you are stuck between 2 surgeons that's when the pros and cons of the company can help your decision, but ultimately it is the surgeon you need to be basing your decision on. Mr Meleagros and Mr Chantarasak are both surgeons from transform that a lot of girls have been with and constantly have great reviews on here, I think they both operate from Southampton xx

Please don't be pressured with any 'hard sell' which is what this is babe, we see it ALL the time, into having surgery with any clinic or surgeon. If you want a date around that time, YOU need to stay in control.

if you're interested in the surgeon 'after' researching him (his name is Mario 'Russo') go for the consultation 'first' there's no guarantees you're going to get along with this surgeon at all and the last thing you're going to want is to feel backed into a corner before you've even had time to think.

Take your time hun. NEVER hand any money over or sign anything until YOU are 100% confident that your happy with your choices. Xx

I know I just hope I get surgery in the week I want. I researched mario Russo and I'm happy with him but will see him next Saturday to talk with him, I'm Guna tell transform Tuesday about the hospital group quote and see if I can haggle money for the surgery date I WANT.
Then see hospital group Saturday and go away and think about it
