I bet primark would have those bandeau bras thingys MrsD! You having your party with new boobs makes it even more exciting! did you plan it that way?! I'm ok ta. Can't wait to get wait to get these dressings off tomorrow. Getting itchy and a bit hot. Want to wear a bra too. I can see why he has told me not too, but feel like them having some support would feel more comfortable - esp at night.

I'm so bored of being bored! I need to stop whinging really, I have great new boobs and i'm not at work!

Thanks Mel. Think I'm just going to take a walk down to the beach then go out for dinner with some friends if I'm not tired.
Yeh treat yourself, like you say you're not going out socialising.
Wow your post op check has come round quickly. I'd have to get up really early to make it for that time it takes me ages to get ready at the mo lol Mines not until Wednesday. I have to go to Southampton so only 40 mins away. X

I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself lol I'm just so bored and keep falling asleep which is making me feel mega groggy! I've finally changed out of my Macom to the m and s zip up today because I felt a bit minging having been in the Macom since surgery. It's currently on the washing line soaking up the sun so ill be back in that tonight for bed (soooo comfy). Boobs wise I'm trying not to look at them too much because one is sitting slightly higher (more swollen) and I might drive myself mad lol. Pains not too bad just back ache and a sore at the sides were drains were I reckon!

All in all I'm just bored and feel like a minger haha can't believe April has been and gone!!!!

Beach sounds lovely Blonde. I'd love to live near the sea. I might be going to Hastings at the weekend, my boyfriends parents have a house there and it's near the beach. Don't think I can face the car journey though! will see, have 2 days to go! Southampton isn't too far for your check check, phew!

Sian just reassure yourself it's two different ops as such, that what my PS said. So each breast is different and will heal differently - has it's own incision and pocket etc. My left one is more swollen, I can't remember if it was a little bigger anyway! All this boob info has frazzled my brain! I've found a bag of peas a life saver, you know that warm, achey feeling that niggles - kind of helps settle it.

I will have a look in primark! It wasn't the plan melstar, I got my new boobs as a birthday present to myself. Lol!

I'm having a drama about what to wear now though, I'm not sure if the dress I have is the dress I want to wear or not! Oh it's so hard sometimes! Ha!

Lottie, sounds like things are going well for you. My righty is the one giving me drama at the moment but it has dropped loads, it's starting to slope at the top of the boob so hopefully it means they are settling in nicely! My left has dropped a little but not too much! It's quite annoying that my nipples aren't in line at the moment especially as the wind blows and everyone can see them now too! Haha! I never had that problem before because they were hidden by padding but now i just find myself going red all the time due to embarrassment! Blush

Other than that though, oh and a split incision (oops) all is well!! Xx

The new bras are great! Costing me lots of money though. Seriously I think I have a problem! I must stop! I think they might go down a size too :( Still not used to it though. I pick up a bra and think 'I'll never fill that' and then its too small and I'm all 'ohhh April Buddies - Page 10 727935

LOL thank you littlemiss. The weather is fab, i'm lucky I often get a sunny birthday! Had a little walk outside this morning, i'm now waiting for my mum to pick me up for lunch. I'm mainly itchy under the bust but last night it was all over my boobs. Seems to have a calmed down today thankfully!

Glad you're having fun bra shopping, i've been browsing the net for potential new bras. What size bra are you in now? x

30D at the moment. not sure if I need to go DD though. I've ordered some to try but they have not arrived yet!

Yeah mine just got a bit itchy when the scars started to dry out. Try some body cream but avoiding your scars of course! I found it helped. Dry skin is itchy!

Ohhh have a lovely lunch in the sun! My Bday is December so I NEVER get to do that lol x

and enjoy ur night out mrsd! So so fun wearing a dress not dictated by the big padded bra necessary!!!! I found celeb boutique online and am literally drooling over some of the dresses as I won't need a bra for a night out soon! Yippee!

Littlemiss I know!!!! I am coveting the pale pink strappy back one that is a copy of ditta von whatshername's! I like the pink black n white bandage one, and the white strapless and there is a high neck 3/4 sleeve one in grey pink n white. Honestly kid in a sweet shop! Trying to justify a wee purchase to my husband!

Hi Girls,

Sorry not had a chance to post for ages but hope you are all well? I've missed loads of chat and my children are running a muck so haven't got time to catch up just yet - hope everyone is happy and enjoying the sun!

I thought I would just give a quick update. I am doing really well and my boobs have given me so much confidence. I had my 2 week check last Tues and PS was really happy with everything, he said I would have about another 5% of swelling but thats it and that for my 4 week check to bring a wired bra - yay! I was going up to London for dinner anyway on Friday so decided to take a detour to bravissimo and got measured - they put me in a 32H!! It fitted well, but I got loads of back fat so decided to go for a 34GG instead. There is no denying it - my boobs are huge!

Hello girls! Had my first check today, dressings off woohoo. I can't believe how quickly the incisons heal it's crazy. I was expect to see a horrible wound but they are all sealed up! I could have sworn the nurse put steri strips on me but when i went to shower tonight (bliss!!) there was nothing covering me (slightly embarrassing as i wrote a post about changing steri strips that i don't even have!! lol) Feel a bit insecure about not having anything covering them though.
