Theme park 6 weeks surgery?!
Hi ladies, I am having my ba on 25th may and it is my sons birthday six weeks later. I promised to take him to a theme park with big rides etc but after reading your stories following surgery I'm not sure this is going to be feasible ? What do u think? The alternative would be a water park -splash landings at Alton towers but would swimming be ok?! I feel bad if I can't take him as hubby doesn't do the rides and as he will be 9 he requires an adult with him!? Thanks in advance xxxx. :-)

Re: Theme park 6 weeks surgery?!
you usually have a 6 week check when they see if they can give you the all clear to swim and do strenuous excercise (think rollercoasters may class as this) but its not 100% guranteed they will allow you from 6weeks post op it depends how your healings going so you will have to see at the check im afraid! x

Don't think we're allowed to go on any sort of theme park ride with implants, they may rotate xx

omg no way hun!! i asked this question on here and another forum and was told at least 6 months if not more realistically a year xx all that motion on the rides, no way not until you're fully healed internally imagine the damage it could do!! xx

I'm 7 weeks post op and there is no way you would get me on roller coasters yet! And I'm not allowed to swim yet either! But check with your surgeon Huni xx

Oh no! I had a feeling this might be the case will have to re- think the plans - I am an avid swimmer, I go four times a week so I thought I might be able to swim sooner than six weeks post op, i guess healing takes time and I will need to be patient - thanks for your replies very much appreciated - Kate xxx

Re: Theme park 6 weeks surgery?!
To avoid any disappointment for your son babe its really not something I'd advise you commit to.
Some ladies get the all clear to treat their boobs as normal at 6 weeks, others 12 and this is barring any complication you may have along the way that may set your healing back.
Having this kind of surgery doesn't do 'text book' healing lovely... Some women heal much quicker than others and as this would be something you'd have to prepare for and commit to if you agreed to go then I'd personally advise if YOU want to get involved and not be the 'bag holder' that you choose something less strenuous hun. Xx

Only my opinion but I would def say no to both.I think its to risky and not worth it. I am sure you could come up with something else and then take your boy when you are completely healed. xxxx
