Top heavy
Morning ladies!! I'm 11 days post op, I've been told by my nurse I can sleep bra less, when I'm 14 days post op, however I feel very odd without a bra, I feel like they are pulling on my chest, is it something that will go away with time? Or something I have to get used to??

I felt like that too. Hate having my bra off to shower ect. I am just over three weeks now and it is feeling better. Im not allowed bra less yet though. x
Re: Top heavy
It'll stop hun. In time your new boobs will come to feel just as your natural boobs did (but bigger lol) and you won't even notice them there anymore, they'll feel very much a part of you and you'll no longer feel anything to make you aware if them as you are now Jos. x
Re: Top heavy
Oh good, glad I'm not alone on that one! I'm having to hold them in the shower!!
Thanks cookie I will look forward to when that day comes! :-)

Re: Top heavy
Hi Jos, my boobs felt like swings with an elephant on them in the first few days, especially when I was out n about. I know I was even walking slouched forward, as if that's gonna make it better! D'oh!! But now at 3 weeks they feel like mine most of the time and the heaviness is gone. So it will feel easier in a few days jos. however I wasn't told I can sleep bra less, only if I'm really uncomfortable I can have the bra off for about an hour in the eve, haven't done that yet. X

I don't think I'm brave enough to sleep without my bra! I have also mastered the slouch, which hurts my shoulders! Glad to know it gets easier! Thanks girlies!! Xx

Re: Top heavy
The "omg my boobs are going to fall off" feeling is a very strange one! It was something I wasn't prepared for. As angie said you soon become used to it, and they will soon start to feel a part of you Hun xx

Re: Top heavy
Mine felt like they were falling out at first and only took sports bra off for short times for showers etc for first 6 weeks. Now still sleep with sports bra most nights, just feels more secure xx

Re: Top heavy
Lol and me! Its funny really. They should make a boobie movie!
I also think cookie should start her own clinic where you can check in the week before and have a wail of a time laughing at boobs stuff and recover with like minded people. Like a boobie retreat.
