Bra help needed please!?!?

Hi ladies, can you help me with this....i measure 31band but been wearing a 34, today i bought a sports bra 34d and its really tight around the band and cups could probably do with being a dd, i re measured my band and its still 31 
im totally confused.com i;ll return it tommorrow but what to get??????

It can be quite hard measuring yourself hunny, have you for someone to help, where abouts are you measuring, and it should be quite tight not so your constricted but pretty tight not a loose measurment. X
Maybe get some one to measure for you! At 2 weeks post op you still maybe a little swollen round the ribs x

my partner measured me and he got 31 too just measuring round my ribs where the band of my bra goes mrsball....my macom is tight but this was to the point of actually hurting moi..ouch!! ive put my macom back on...ahhh xx

460 overs and you bought a 34D... no wonder it's tight! I had 380 partial unders and a 34D is not very nice... but then again it was £4 from Tesco so I'm not surprised, lol Hope you're feeling OK x

That made me laugh zebra this was a £5 jobbie thought i could wear in bed as the macom is tight too!!! thing is i measure31 so surely 34 should be ok....wasnt sure about cup size so just had a guess, im clueless xx

so if the cup size is too small would that make the band tighter??? lol god im thick sorry!!!

I was wondering about this too! I measure 29 but wear a 32 and its tight round the band... Will have to get properly measured in a few weeks and see what they recommend!x

What band bra did you wear before? Maybe but the same band but bigger cup... possibly an E? Try before you buy :)
Haha What do we expect though spending such little money on these horrible things lol! I do love my Macom though now :) Do you think you'll be more comfy in a Large Macom then? Try Ebay too, I got mine off there for £20!

OR as they are only dead cheap go back and get a 36E or something so you feel a bit more comfy while the swelling goes down? x

Lol i Know zebra wat a cheapskate moaning about a £5 bra....didnt have time to try..silly mistake. Got 2 macoms in medium will check out ebay or the items on here. Thanks hun xx

You may measure 31 inches and a 34 band will be fine for you to wear normally, and it will probably feel tight for a while, you probably still have swelling which will make the area around your ribs, where the band sits very sore. I also agree with the others that a bigger band size may be needed. I was told to get and E cup with my 410cc

Thanks misf1 i will try an E cup, its just so sore feels like its burning by the end of the day and keeps me awake at night as i keep lifting it off my skin!! Now ive had my dressings off and just got steri strips on dont want to irritate my scars.

I know I'm a 32 band and I was wearing a 36 in the first week, so your swelling may get worse throughout the day. Maybe get a 34E a bit later when the swellings gone, and a 36DD for now

Yes your right it doesnt feel to bad at the start of the day but by bedtime its killing, i have been getting up in the wee small hours as its been so uncomfortable, will definately get one tommorow.
