As I mentioned priviously I had lots of trouble when getting stitches ou! Basically the nurse struggle to get the non-dispossable stitches out and when she couldnt she unpicked the disposable ones leavig pit marks. Stutures where put on to try and close these and was checked by another PS and then again a week ago by a nurse. I had a limited look while lying on the bed and they where redressed. Another dressing was put on as I was going away to Marrakech. I had a look at them a few days later and noticed that near where the stitches around the nipple had been badly picked at that the skin hasnt healed leaving pot holes. Just spoke to clinic and they are trying to say I am almost over reacting! She has noted that she was happy with how the stitches have healed! Sorry for bad spelling...am using french keyboard!

Poor you! When my stitches were removed they left one stitch or a bit of a stitch in, I recall when we got home and I was in the bath my other half using tweezers to pull it out...ouch!! and then we used some germolene on the tiny open wound. I am not medically trained and neither is he but it worked for us and my little wound healed perfectly....is this perhaps something you could use??

Thanks for response! Since I am not medically trained I do not want to touch the wound as I want them to be resposible if it needs correcting!

Are we talking BIG pot holes then?? My wound was literally 4-5mm wide and was caused by the stitch being removed. If it is really that bad and I agree they need to get it sorted out!! This totally sucks for you....it's just not what you expect to happen at all. x

I agree with Kittie I would be getting on the phone to the clinic and making an appointment for as soon as you can.
