Can you go into the emergency room? What types of implants did you have 10 years ago?

i'd be nervous of a leak or something, I'd get in immediately, definitely not wait 2 weeks with that kind of pain.

Good luck getting in to the dr hun!!

I would try and get an appointment to see someone at the breast clinic, not sure if you have to be referred through your GP. They will be able to check to see if it's something like CC and refer you for an MRI if they think it might be a rupture.

Hi vikki, i'm sorry to hear that you're in pain. Did you have saline or silicone 10 years ago? You had rounds or anatomicals? Maybe you had rupture or simply time to change them. I hope you will get to see the PS very soon. Let us know how it goes Help..in pain... 571992

Hi all, sorry not been on sooner but v.busy few days!!

Basically had to fight foreven a referal as the NHS arent accepting due to lack of money etc...

My GP finally managed to get me 1 at the breast clinic for this Fri....just gotta hope & pray that they will sort me out......cant leave me like this surely?

The clinic who did my surgery in the 1st place wont redo without me paying again....which is not an option as I have no savings except in my childrens names,& went bankrupt earlier this year so cant even get credit to cover the cost!

What a NIGHTMARE....bad timing on my boobies part...typical!XX

I know, was considering that, but the general impression I,m getting is that they ave no sympathy because u did it to yourself....I had a good job 10yrs ago though(for NHS...lol),& could not have predicted the financial situation I,m in at the moment....just wish my boobs wouldve lasted another cple of years till I could get myslf sorted!

Being made to feel rubbish cos obviously there is alot of women needin reconstuction after cancer etc...

Hun don't feel like you need to appologise for anything. We all had this surgery bc we felt we needed it, we had something we weren't happy about and we decided to make a change. That being said, nobody has the right to judge you on the dicisions you make.

What did they tell you was wrong, what happened. I do hope you manage to find a why to sort all of this out. I can just imagine the prediciment you are in.

Hun you have nothing to feel guilty about. They are the national health service and people need them for all sorts of different things don't let them make you feel bad hun. I know someone who works on The 999 calls, they get people calling for the most stupid things. SHe told me that once someone rang up as kid ran out of Tampons... NOw they should feel bad! X X X

Good luck for your appointment on Friday xx
I agree with Amy hon, don't feel bad about going to hospital if you in severe pain / worry in the meantime. They could do a scan and give you some decent painkillers as a basic intervention to help whislt you are waiting for an urgent opinion and to rule out anything which may not be related to your implants eg cyst / abscess etc.
Yes you did choose to have surgery but if I keep eating 20 bars of chocolate a day I'll be diabetic soon and need my hips replaced- and the NHS will treat me for that! We live in a country with an open access health service based on need, and if you need care you have an entitlement - dont feel bad.
