All normal hun. Massaging the scars will break up the scar tissue and help them heal flat.

You are far too early yet hun, you need to wait for the skin to fuse back together and the scars to be completely closed. Your surgeon or nurse should look at you at about 6 weeks and they will check your scars and instruct you whether to massage or not.

Thank you for posting this question. I was also wondering about my scarring. I had my surgery 18 days ago and I was getting concerned with the bumpy feeling also.

My scars also look fabulous and flat from the outside but feel lumpy when i touch them. I'll probably start massaging them after the 6 week post op check. x

Completley normal at ur stage hun!

Mine are still a littlr bumpy underneath (like inside the scar) but it doesn't bother me. I do massage them still daily (have fdone from 6 weeks)

I'm going to buy some of those scar sheets to use now.

I got told to just sort of rub in circular movements and press quite firmly when doing so. But only do this if u are told as I was told not to massage the scars till 6 weeks. But to massage just my boobs from 2 weeks.xxx

Moongal- when I went in to have my stitches out (day 7) they told me to go ahead and start massaging with cocoa butter or any fragrance-free lotion :)
