I had two stitches taken out at day 7 and then at day 15 noted two transparent knots at either side of the scars. I had these trimmed off yesterday but I was told by the nurse that they were actually dissolvable ones but these can work there way to the surface and come out over time or if they annoy you, they can be trimmed off. She said after 5 years she noted a stitch had come to the surface and so she pulled it out!!!
Anyhow, it isnt painful at all, I just looked the other way and it was fine x

I had my stitches removed and they were fine, one stung a little but a sting like ripping a plaster off, nothing really.

I had my stitches out on day 12 (i think!) and it was just like a pulling sensation - nothing to worry about. x
