Unders or overs chick???

I had overs and was very lucky, hardly any pain at all. Just paracetamol did the trick, more discomfort than pain x

For the majority of women they experience more 'discomfort' than 'pain'. The first week is the worst with day three usually being the peak... after that it just gets better and better!

You're usually if you're in the the UK sent home with tramadol or co-codeine and sometimes depending on your surgeon you will also have to take anti-biotics too.

Most only need the strong painkillers for a couple of days to a week depending on your pain threshold. xx

I'm day 1 post op...no pain, just a very tight sports bra!!! I also have a big lymph node removed in my armpit and that's more uncomfortable than the boobs. Might still have the drugs from the hospital in my system though. Have been sent home with co-dydramol and antibiotics and got myself some ibuprofen. Had a Tramadol in hospital but a couple hours later was itching like crazy. They said it was the Tramadol but I'm not convinced...I'm thinking it's all the morphine I had lol!

I had unders and a lift and I would say that it really wasnt painful at all, I was a bit uncomfortable and sorta stiff feeling... it was way better than I ever could have expected. I had enough pain pills for a week but I went to plain paracetemol after 3 days. I am now 11 days post op and I am just weak and limited in movement and aware of my boobs but not at all uncomfortable.
good luck! xx

Like the other girls have said, it's more of a discomfort feeling than actual pain. I stopped taking pain killers after day 4, although my breasts still feel a little sore and tense after waking up in the morning.

I had overs and mostly used paracetomol and just used the tramadol at night. At about day 4/5 I stopped the paracetomol but still used the tramadol for about 2 weeks at night
