Post by blondeyglamour 4th October 2010, 12:45 pm

Hello,
I’m really worried something is wrong, I’m not normally a worrier but something doesn’t feel right. I have noticed pain in my right boob at the bottom of my cleavage since the day I had my boobs done, but the pain here never went away, now it’s really hurting me.
I had my surgery on the 18th July 2010, and I’ve just found out I’m 5 weeks pregnant (totally unplanned I was told I wouldn’t be able to have children due to my PCOS so this is a miracle).
Where the pain is, the implant feels really squidgy and lumpy; the other side doesn’t feel like this at all. and both boobs are really hot and red (I think that could be down to the pregnancy).
Has anyone else had this before?
I had 460cc over’s from a 32b.
I'm currently at work and have had to take my bra off as I was in so much pain.
Ive got a surgeon appointment on Friday booked for my 3 month check up anyway, I have rung my surgery and asked to speak to someone and they said they will ring me back asap.

x

Hun I have had 3 children and your boobs can change from the minute you get pregnant. They can be sore and lumpy and sometimes quite painful. You are doing the right thing getting it checked out though but try not to stress yourself out too much. Congratulations btw I have the same as you and it just goes to show miracles do happen xx

Without trying to worry the hell out of you, how do you breasts look? is the painful breast showing any signs of swelling at all? when you lift your arms up do your breasts still look as they did say 2 weeks ago? The important thing to remember is pregnancy does change your breasts, it is quite often the very first pregnancy symptom other than missing your period. Try not to freak out about this....getting advice from your surgeon is the best advice!

Just to be on the safe side.....if it's not too painful for you try massaging the breast, I would have advised taking some ibuprofen but as you are pregnant I am not entirely sure you can so best not take that risk.

Congratulations on your baby news!! x x

Firstly congratulations hun!

I'm sure there's nothing at all to worry about hun, hormones are evil things and your body is simply changing... your breasts will be sore, lumpy and tender hunni, that's all part of the joys of pregnancy... good job we get the best prezzie ever at the end of it eh!

Congratulations on your pregnancy hun. Just goes to show miracles can happen.

But the miracle of pregnancy also includes the joy of hormones changing on a daily basis. My boobs were the first symptom of pregnancy - so so so sore and swollen it was horrible. Fingers crossed that's all thats to blame for your sore boobie.

I know you can take paracetomol while pregnant but not sure if you can take something like ibuprofen. Hope all goes well when you have your check up on Friday.
