struggling to pick children up!!!!!!!!!!!! Empty struggling to pick children up!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by KNOTTY80 10th September 2010, 11:02 am

had my 1st week pro op check up on monday. All healing fine and not much discomfort, But was told still not to lift my kids for at least 3-5 weeks !
Am finding this hard due to having a 17 month old (chunky) :heehee:
and a three year old who thinks mums got a poorly back...

im doing the cushion in front of me for cuddles and sitting on floor with him when playing, but just wondering was i told this long due to me having unders?
and how long other mums left it?

also sounds daft but would my implant move if did pick him up?
any advice would be great x :good:

Hard one chicky. I was told 2 weeks.....but i had overs. Must be something to do with unders & what your surgeon suggests. It will all help in the healing of your boobies you see.

Not sure what to suggest........ shrug xx

I was picking up my 9 month old and 4 month old nephews 1 week post op but only occasionally. i guess you just have to follow your surgeons advice hun, but there are times when you have to lift as any mummy knows. not sure what to suggest as i had overs so would be a slightly different recovery process.

I only left it about 2 and a half weeks to pick up the twins (18 months)... It was too hard not to. I've been fine tho - haven't been in any pain.
