well i've just got back from my 8 wk check with my surgeon...he took pics to compare, checked they were healing ok etc etc

but when i asked him if they'll get a bit bigger when the muscle relaxes totally (i didnt use the term fluffing!) he said no they won't and that what i have now is my finished size just had 8 week check with surgeon :( 856466

i had an uplift as well as the unders, and my skin across my chest and the upper part of my boobs is still totally numb,which i know can take up to a year to go ,and so i was under the impression that fluffing takes place once the muscle has relaxed and stopped being tight and numb

my boobs LOOK the right shape now, but i would love them to fluff a bit!

is it all a myth? is he right and they wont get any bigger? and i'm gonna have to update my avatar cos my boobs dnt look like that now lol so dnt take any notice of it!

When some people fluff it doesn't involve a change in cup size more a change in shape and how they look. Did your surgeon say your muscle had fully relaxed? Your boobs in your avvy look super so I'm looking forward to seeing the new improved 8 week avvy just had 8 week check with surgeon :( 204135

I had overs MM and I fluffed after about 6/7 months from an E to a G, it was quite gradual with me so maybe you will be the same just had 8 week check with surgeon :( 727885

Can't comment on unders but I'm sure that they will change some more of the course of a year gorgeous xx

I had an uplift and implants too hunni and fluffed at 12 weeks post-op, you look really big in your avatar hun, bigger than I am and I'm a 32F too. xx

I think once the muscle relaxes you will notice a slight change in shape - maybe they'll get bigger maybe they won't. They are a pretty damn good size at the moment I think.

Wow, how gig do you want to be girl? I think you look fab as you are! I think you probably will fluff when your muscles loosen up.

Can you tell me how you changed your avatar? I wanted to change my pic so I deleted my old one and uploaded a new one from my computer then saved and nothing happened. I even tried to put my old one back on and can't. What am I doing wrong? thanx.

Hi Dervla. To add a picture go to your profile, then along the top (Well near the top) click on Avatar. You will see the top box which next to it says Upload an avatar from your computer...Click in that box and then press browse, then you will be able to find the picture you want which you have uploaded click on your picture and it will probably say something like open, then press save, and it should be changed xx

thanx for all your lovely comments but the pic in my red bra, i was still swollen!! they've settled down a lot now, so i want em to fluff now!! but at least most of you say i will, so thats good news!! my new avatar should be on now....just took it 10 min ago lol!! xx

Aw hun, I didn't see the one in your red bra, but the one in your white bra looks great. I don't think any surgeon will tell you they are going to get/look bigger as if they dont you could go back and complain. Peoples boobs can change at much later than 8 weeks, I am sure they haven't fully finished changing yet. Mine didn't get into a bigger cup size until about 7-9 months.

I went for my 8 week check up yesterday and my PS said that mine will stay the same size as well but I'm happy with that!

To be honest a lot of surgeons don't even see their patients between 6/8 weeks and a year after the op... so do they really appreicate all the small changes and subtleties that the ladies on here who inspect their boobs daily do?
So many women who are on here have actually expereinced an increase in cup size or an imporved shape that i am a firm believer in the fluffing fairy!!
