Just had 5 week check up with my surgeon...

...and he was happy with my progress. Said they look good, have lots of changes still to come, and they will drop more (right is still a bit behind).He said they look very tight and skin is dry so advised me to massage with bio- oil now my incisions have healed.

I asked when I could get measured for a bra, and he said now!? Said your boobs will change shape and become softer, but this size is my size? (Didn't tell him debenhams wouldn't measure me till 8 weeks but, I think I will wait another week anyway,  just  to get to that 6 week mark.) 
He actually said he's not a fan of bra's,  so said if you feel comfy, go braless.He made me laugh actually, he said every surgeon has a diff of opinion on being bandaged down, sports bra'd up etc, but he said I have my own theories. And if you don't mind going braless, go for it. He said there already being  supported slightly anyhow  by muscle.
Said I'm ok for wires, but avoid it all day cos it can become uncomfy at first as they tend to rub on the incision site.

He wants to see me at 6 months, so that will be January so was quite pleased about that,  as I'm sure by then I will of had more changes and have a heap load more questions lol!

But yeh,  it went really well, he said any questions I can always find out when he's there in clinic and visit which was good, and just said all the sensitive type sunburnt type feelings on my skin will subside eventually, just takes time as it's been stretched  a lot and quickly!


So im happy today! We're off to seaside in a bit for fish & chips!

Fantastic news Hun. Just reading your post has made me realise I don't have the sunburn feeling anymore but didn't realise it had stopped, they just feel like my boobs now. So he's right, before you know it they'll be comfy and feel 100% yours xx
