Re: drains
Drains are all down to a surgeons personal preference hun so no, not everyone has drains.
If you do have drains, they'll be removed on the day of your discharge babe. xxx

Re: drains
No, they aren't painful hun. A few ladies do find them being removed a little uncomfortable but only for a second as the tube is taken out, I along with so many other ladies however didn't feel a thing! They didn't bother me at all, I took painkillers an hour before they were due to come out, I followed the breathing instructions the nurse gave me and I didn't even know it was out! LOL
They really are nothing at all to be worried about sweetheart. xxx

Re: drains
Drains were something I was really dreading in the run up to my op, but it was nothing to worry about at all. It didn't hurt, in fact I hardly felt them come out tbh. I was so pleased as I expected the worse!
The nurse took mine out the next morning on day of discharge.

Re: drains
I had drains too chick and didn't feel a thing when they were taken out. The nurse just told me to take a deep breath and then she pulled them out. I was more worried about the drains than having the implants put in but I had nothing to worry about xx

Re: drains
I didn't have drains, but as cookie said it's surgeons preference, some use them some don't.
