babies after BA
Hi girls, so sorry ive posted quite a few questions today... as i feel im geting closer to booking BA i have alot of questions!
Has anyone on here had children after having BA? Im 23 (never been pregnant), and hope to have babies around 26. Does it affect me having children if i have BA? Will i have more pain in breasts when im pregnant? Does it ruin shape of boobs quite dramatically getting pregnant?
Ive been told i can breastfeed with partial unders - has anyone done this?
Thanks

Re: babies after BA
I asked this question at my consultation as I want children in the future and was told if you breastfeed you might lose the effects of the BA because of the tissue loss so the implant might become more noticeable so a re-op might be required in the future. But sometimes there will be no change at all, especially if you choose not to breastfeed as everyone's body is different. I was also told it doesn't affect your ability to breastfeed. x

Re: babies after BA
hmmm as you saw my boobs were dramatically changed from breastfeeding 3 babies, not that you saw them before but mine were a good b cup before kids and i just lost all my breast tissue, however the fact i went up to d/dd cup when pregnant/breastfeeding probably didnt help. However i know some people breasts don't change much when having babies my mum bf 6 kids and still has dd boobs. I suppose you have to keep in mind that a re op might have to be considered (worse case scenario)

Re: babies after BA
hmm, maybe i wont breast feed then - hehe!
Guess will just have to judge the situation as and when it happens. But i guess many girls on here have had BA before kids - so its not rare to have kids after BA?
Sarah - guess you're right must depend on every individual. Will keep having a re-op in mind, really do hope they dont get too bad as i want kids soon, but also want my BA NOW - as you never know when i will actually have kids. Can never plan the future i guess - i always paint a perfect picture in my head but have learnt life never goes according to that!
Which is why i want a BA to have the confidence i want in my body.
Thanks for your replies ladies :)

Re: babies after BA
I thought about this alot, you just can't predict what pregnancy and breastfeeding will do to your boobs, some people get huge and then shrink again, and some people don't change much at all.
I've read someone say it actually made their ba look more natural and not so high up, but I've also read about people needing re-ops.
I'd say unless you're planning a baby really soon then just go for the boobies cos you can't tell what the future will hold, so there's no point delaying the ba for years when you could be enjoying it now!

I just found out I'm pregnant and not even had my boobs for a year! I will keep you all updated how my boobs change over the coming months, at the moment they don't feel much different, just nipples are a bit sore. xx

Re: babies after BA
If at all possible, id wait till after youve had your kids before having a BA
My boobs went from an A cup to an E cup in my 1st pregnancy, then down to a B. Then a B cup to an F cup in my two subsequent pregnancies and back down again, and theyre ruined now.
I did breastfeed, but my friend didnt and her boobs are much the same as mine. The changes are more due to the weight gain and loss in and after pregnancy than the breastfeeding.
Saying that, your boobs might not change that much, but you wont know that until youre there
