Babies after BA
Hello everyone,
Is there anyone on here who have had a BA in between or before children?
I have 2 very young children and would ideally like to leave it a few years before we try for another baby.
However, I can't wait until after then to have a BA as after going up to an E while breastfeeding I have now been left with almost nothing (AA) and it's very depressing.
I want to go for the natural look so have been looking into anatomicals but I would be VERY interested to see or hear about how new boobies look after having babies.
Many Thanks xxxxxxxxxxx

Re: Babies after BA
I had children and then had my BA, but I do know that lots of women opt for a BA because of the damage having chidren does to our breasts.
Some women are lucky and are not effected at all, other have major problems afterwards, I was one of those.
I think you should use common sence hun, no-one can predict the effects of pregnency on YOUR breasts after YOUR pregnancy, they can only offer their own experiences which might be very different to the one you might experience.
I'd say, if you desperately want a BA then have one! When you finish your family you can then take alook at your augmentated boobs and make a decision on whether or not aesthetically you're still happy with them.
If you are - GREAT! and if not, you may need to dig deep again for a re-op.
Lifes for living babe, if you want to take a chance then do it! If you're more sensible then the 'sensible' thing to do would be to wait till you have finished your family. xx

I thought you may find these links useful as I have had a BA and want children so here are some links to questions myself and others have asked one of the surgeons.

Thank you Cookie, Lolly and Misf1!
And those links are brilliant Misf1. Never heard of 'double bubble' before, so very good info here.
I personally know someone (my husband's brother's girlfriend) had BA after no. 4 and has had a further 2 children since. I know she has quite large round unders and has had no problems at all and breastfeeding fine. In fact she said they look more natural.
So I just thought I would raise the question to hear of others' situations and scenarios. xxxxxx

Re: Babies after BA
I was wondering that too - I've not had kids yet but I definitely want my boobs done as soon as I can pay for it, which is most definitely going to be before I'm thinking about having kids. I'd like to have 2-3 kids and I think breastfeeding is probably best so I always wondered about 1) the impact the BA might have on my ability to breastfeed, and 2) their appearance afterwards.
Having said that, it's my firm belief that if you go into something such as a boob job or having kids, you should be prepared to pay for unexpected things coming up afterwards. I'd definitely start putting away extra money after my op in case I wanted them redone, and when the time comes to have kids, one of the costs I'd be thinking about would be a reop. If I don't end up having them redone, I could just spend it on a big family holiday when the baby's a bit older or something like that lol. I sort of get the impression you might get a bit of bottoming out or sagging but with just the implants sagging off if you get what I mean? But I don't really know either, I'm just guessing. But like I said, I'd imagine that the best course of action is to go for the BA if you want it, but be prepared to have to have a lift later on.

Re: Babies after BA
I myself have been wondering the same thing, i have one little girl at the moment who is 2 and my husband is going for pc, and i had such a long and difficult labour that we have deceided to wait another 4 years, till i feel i can go thru with again. I have been advised that you could have some sagging, but the way i look at it, go for it now, enjoy feeling like a women, before you put your body thru all the baby process. Im going to enjoy the next few years being a yummymummy and having big babies that ill adore and feel confident in.

Re: Babies after BA
Yes it's not an easy decision by all means.
I have just paid my booking deposit! I decided I can't go 3-4 years looking like this before our next child. So I have bitten the bullet and I'm really excited.
Fingers crossed they will stay lovely and pert after having a BA and another child- just like 2 other people I know!
If they do drop quite a bit, then so be it.
Like you say Pixie
