I'm back with new boobs and nose

Hey girlies

Apologies for not coming on since the op on Monday, I haven't really felt up to it to be honest so have been chilling out at home and just sleeping/relaxing.

I got there really early (6:45am) and wasn't supposed to be there until 7:30am but dad thought the traffic would be heavy on a monday morning due to london commuters so left earlier than planned. Worked out quite well because they took me straight to my room and booked me in - I was in theatre by about 8:30am and was first on the list.

The op went really well. No complications and all finished in a reasonable amount of time. I have absolutely no pain in my nose at all, and the bruising is relatively minimal although my face is quite swollen. Am taking lots of Arnica and some of the bruising has gone down so it must be doing something. My surgeon was really pleased and said the boobs looked good and felt quite soft which is good.

My boobs feel very strange. I haven't really had any pain to be honest, nothing significant anyway and have some good movement in my arms which is good. My entire chest feels so numb though it doesn't feel like it is mine. If i'm completely honest, i really dont like this feeling and hope it doesn't last too much longer. My boobs feel quite warm which i guess is where the skin is stretching. They are a little bit pointy but only what i expected so i'm pleased with their size and think they will be a nice shape once they've settled.

I do feel a little bit like i'm having an out-of-body experience though if that makes sense. I don't think my brain has quite caught up and realised that these boobs are mine. Coupled with the fact i can't feel anything because the whole area is numb, it is a very strange feeling and not one i particularly like if i'm honest. Definitely glad i've had it done and looking forward to the final result.

Oh, and i weighed myself after the op as still very bloated from the GA and lack of toilet action and I actually weigh 11lbs heavier than I did on Monday mornign before the op!!! I know that the boobs must have added a couple of pounds but the rest is literally just bloat and water retention. I look seriously pregnant, its vile.

My back is quite stiff from sleeping so upright too, which is more annoying than anything else.

Right, that's all the moaning bit out of the way - just so everyone is clear I LOVE MY NEW BOOBS AND NOSE!!!!!! Defintely the best thing i've ever done. Just wish the healing would hurry up now. Here's to dropping, softening and new bra buying in a few weeks haha

So glad it went well. I don't blame you for not getting on! must be hectic having the 2 ops in one go.
I put on 8lbs after my op, took me 2 weeks to shift it and still a couple of lb's are sticking! they'll go eventually

I hope they do Chez, i think its mostly water anyway to be honest - just feels so uncomfortable my poor tummy has never looked so big.

I've had a GA twice before and recovered from it both times really quickly but its really knocked it out of me this time. Think it must be all this lack of sleep from sleeping upright and having to keep remembering to take medications at different times of the day etc.

Definitely worth it though!

aww congrats stilton glad it went well for you. It must be traumatic to the body having two ops at once but I am sure everyday you well feel better and better. Hope it all heals for you very quickly x

My friend recently had a nose job & apart form a little swelling it all healed so quickly so hope it does for you too!! xx

Oh sweetheart, it such wonderful news to read you're doing so well! Congratulations on both boobies and new nose!

Remember hun, you don't have to be sat up going to sleep, just your head and shoulders need to be raised to aid the swelling hun and a hot water bottle placed in the small of your back with help with the aching hunni.

Thanks girls. I feel surprised that I feel so good really, my pain threshold is usually rubbish so thought I would really suffer. They do feel hard and numb though and don't really like the feel of them yet. My new kitten decided yesterday that he likes mums new boobs and keeps wanted to climb on them. They must look snuggly haha

It's wierd when ur boobs feel they aren't part of you, mine were like that too. But now at 6 weeks they are starting to feel like 'my' boobs again (still feel odd at times though if am honest).

My beautiful sister has just been round and washed my hair for me and helped me shower myself. Feel all lovely and clean again now, such a nice feeling. Just need this bloated tummy to disappear now.

Congratulations hun, glad to hear everything went well and you are pleased with your new additions and nose!

I looked about 6 months pregnant after my op! Keep an eye on the "lack of toilet action"!!! I didn't go for 9 days after my op and was in agony and ended up buying some laxatives which still took a few days to kick in. So, I'd start taking them now! Sorry if that's too much info!
