No new boobies or nose! ;-(

I am gutted, i have booked my surgery in October, and I have all the boobie money, just need a couple more grand for the rhinoplasty aswell.

But my company went into administration on Friday! I am gutted!
I just dont know what to do, I had my heart set on this op as i have wanted it for years, like many of you ladies. I knew as I was so close to getting my dream, that something would put a spanner in the works.

Just thought Id share as I dont know if I will be on this site as much, as it breaks my heart as now it may not happen i feel a fake.

I know i should be thankful I am healthy, have a loving fiance, and things could be much worse, but am still devistated :sad: :sad: :sad:

sorry to hear that hun couldnt u just have your boobs done?as u say u got the money for it its awful as so many buisinesses are suffering my fella has had all overtime cut so hes struggling now to we have a real expensive apartment so i know how u feel its **naughty word**

I could just have my boobs done, but wouldnt it be stupid as i would need my savings? my fiance said we could live on his wages but i would feel so selfish.
If I cant find a job then maybe i could get my boobs done as i would have time to recover, and it may give me confidence in my job search.lol.

As Nads has said, why don't you shop around? There's a good haggling sticky, and from my experience Companies are getting pretty desperate for the business, I had 2 hounding me before I had mine done.

Hey Nads, I was booked with Mybreast, havent cancelled yet, as i think I can cancell up to a month before and get deposit back.

I was having my nose done aswell, with James mcdiamid, and as the 2 ops were together, was a saving of £1000.

If I get another job i will be ok, but competition is fierce at the moment!
I know things could be worse, I am just feeling sorry for myself, sorry girls.

Ahh, sorry to hear that lovely. Only you know your financial situation, so you'll have to decide if you can afford to have you BA, or if you need to save the money.

As you said, if you can afford it it would be brilliant to recover without the stress of work, but you don't want to spend that much money and be left scrimping and saving until another job comes along.

Talk it over with your fiance too, he'll give you some advice if you aask for it.

You're more than welcome to stay on here lovely. No one will judge you for having to put your plans on hold, I shouild know, I waited 9 months after my first few consults!

Aw!!! soo sorry to hear that!! You just never know what is around the corner...soo maybe things will be better than you think at the moment!!!!

As you say doing it now would also enable a new start and confidence... soo maybe oh's offer and support should be taken with the intention it was meant.... to support you to feel better about you. I am sure it can be returned in future in many ways.

Aww I'm really sorry to hear this. What does it mean that the company has gone into administration? Are they not trading any more? I think you should look into getting it done with a different company, there are lots of good ones out there xx

you poor thing.

I had some complications before my BA, and i honestly thought there was no way i was gonna be able to have it done - in fact it was only 4 days before my op that i found out it could all go ahead. So i know the pain and heart ache you must be feeling.

I say its early days yet, don't panic yourself into a decision. You don't know what is around the next corner, and i always say everything happens for a reason hun, and so far in my life this has always been true.

If your not booked in till Oct and can cancell up to 1 month b4, then i would hold off in cancelling. I would try and avoid using your savings if poss. Maybe see whats going on in the Job market, If your finace said he will help out then maybe do that for a month and see if you think there is any chance of you getting a new job soon after.

If you really want this i would consider doing any job for the short term, maybe you could get 2 part time jobs if you can't find a full time one.

You girls are right, I will try my best to get a new job and go from there, my company is still trading at the mo, and I have to keep positie for the girls, there is a meeting today to see what is happening, maybe i ll know more tomorrow, or Tues.

Oh I'm sorry I misunderstood, I thought you meant the company you booked with had gone into administration.

Definitely agree with what the other girls have said, October is a fairly long time away so I would also hold off canceling for a while as a lot can happen in 6 months.

Hun I know how you feel as I lost my job too, the week after I had my operation, and I am still struggling... got some freelance work here and ther but not enough... in my case I alread y had the op so I couldn't get the money back, and at first I though "gosh, I could really do with that money now"... but you know what, even if broke I am happier like this and I am glad I had it done, so don't give up on your dream, maybe you'll have to delay or maybe not, but think that it's going to happen in the end and things will be ok. Aw so sorry you lost your job moomar, how long ago was that? its so hard to find work when theres a ressession on, but good luck.
