travel insurance for wks post ba??? Empty travel insurance for wks post ba???

Hi ladies, im planning on having my surgery about 6 weeks before i go to a wedding in cyprus. Im obviously needing to get travel insurance but the basic ones ive looked into have said it would be void if id been in hosp approx 6months before travelling.
Has anyone done insurance for a hol not that long after surgery?who did u go with?x

Hi, I am 6 weeks post op and off on hols this week - I sorted my travel insurance last week (with Aviva) over the phone - I told them about my BA and they accepted it with no additional terms or premium loading (because the op is purely cosmetic, with no medical reason for the surgery) You are better off arranging your insurance over the phone so you can explain about your surgery - most companies only sell internet policies for "standard" cases hence the exclusion if you have been in hospital recently.
