sports bra???
Hiya, I am 2 days post op and just wondering if it is better for a sports bra to be too loose or too tight? I can't seem to find one which fits perfectly. A 34C is too tight and hurts me..but i dont know if its meant to feel like this? I have been wearing a 34D as well tho which is a lot more comfortable but it is a bit loose. Which do u think i should be wearing?? I was maybe thinking a 32d would be more comfortable but cant find any of these in shops!! Thanks. xx

Re: sports bra???
It shouldn't really be loose because it wont be supporting you but it shouldnt be too tight to the point of cutting into you lol, it should just fit snugly x

I wouldn't wear a loose one, but if it's the 34C is too tight you can always buy a bra extender (they sell them in la Senza and Marks and Spencer I believe)... at least for now, the swelling will go down and then it should fit without the extender. In the meantime if you can't find your perfect size in the shops you can order online.

Re: sports bra???
I still haven't got my sports bra, i'll have to get a couple this weekend before the big day! Can anyone recommend where to get a good one from? I've heard one's from places like Asda/Tesco are very uncomfortable but at same time I don't want to be paying a fortune for something I'm not going to be using for very long as I'm on a tight budget now I'm having this op!x

Re: sports bra???
I bought marks and Spencer nd Shock Absorber. I find the M&S more comfortable. They are £18/20 but you CAN exchange them if they don't fit as long as you bring them back with the box. Also if you get a model that doesn't have too much "boob shape" but is more plain (if you understand what i mean) it should be able to fit even if you are a bit bigger or smaller than the actual size you get, as long as the chest circumference fits. And even if tha doesn't fit because of the swelling, you can buy bra extenders and voila'! I bought some with my normal chest width because I was hoping to keep using them for actual sports once I start to wear normal bras, but at first they have been a bit too tight - the bra extender has done the trick tho!!

Re: sports bra???
hey all - i have just been in good old tk maxx near me and they had loads of different shock absorbers and also crop top style sports tops for about £10 or less. they are worth checking before you go anywhere else i would say.

Re: sports bra???
Its worth getting a good one as its not just to wear for a few days or something its to wear for at least 6 weeks or more and you want to get your boobies off to a good start! lol i wore 32D after my op, a Shock absorber it is fab, it felt tight on me but i felt supported x
