Quick question girls
Just wondering girls does the UK do smooth implants?
Also I have partials at the moment and im swapping to overs.
At the moment I dont have any rippling what so ever! I know some girls do with partials.
Im just wondering if that would mean I would be less likely to get rippling with overs if i dont get it with partials!?

Re: Quick question girls
I'm not 100% sure, but think there are three shells that are used in the uk - Smooth, Textured and another that has a polyurethane foam coating, but I'm reciting this from memory, I could be wrong, will check it out properly for you later, but I do recall that smooth are used in the UK but I don't personally know of anybody with smooth implants.
The basic guidelines with overs are that you have enough fat and breast tissue to cover an implant, if you have this, 'in theory' you should be fine, but it's not something you can depend on. There are never any guarantees babe. xxx

Yep, I was right babe.

Types of breast implants
Breast implants consist of a filler material inside a silicone elastomer shell. The shell can be either smooth or textured. Some are covered with a polyurethane foam coating. Only two types of breast implant filler are currently in use in the UK:
* silicone gel
* saline.
Implants that are not available in the UK are:
* hydrogel-filled implants
* soya bean oil-filled (Trilucent) implants
* implants with a titanium coating.

Re: Quick question girls
I have heard that if you have smooth highprofile implants there is less chance of rippling, but the textured implant reduces the % of getting cc so there are pros and cons to everything

I agree hon. Pros and cons for everything. However I just feel I would be more at risk of rippling as opposed to CC. But I dont think my surgeon would do smooth implants.

Re: Quick question girls
Not sure about the UK, but in the US, smooth implants are definitely used more than textured. I'm having smooth.
