swelling?
hello
Im 3 days post op and was just wondering if anyone can let me know how you know if your boobs are swollen?! Do they innitially swell after op or after a few days? Im just wondering as my sports bra (34c) doesnt fit that well and isnt very comfy so wondering whether to get a new now or wait?
also which sports bra's did you find most comfy? choosing bra's is all very new to me!

Re: swelling?
Most people have some swelling however the amount you have depends on the individual. I found the asda sports bras very comfy, cheap too so I was able to get quite a few sizes. Did you have unders? you may find you will fit into the 34C as the muscle relaxes.

Re: swelling?
If you're not comfortable in your bra hunni then I'd get a new one that not only helped support my boobs but also offered comfort too - Sometimes you do need to change your bra size (either the cup size or band size or maybe both) to accomodate the swelling for a while, so misf1 suggestion of a cheaper sports bra such as Asdas are a good idea.
Re: swelling?
I had unders. I was a 32 band before so maybe i should try dropping a size down? I have some larger tesco ones but think its just that my boobs are high that they dont quite fit the centre of the cup if that makes sense.

Try staying with the same cup size but going up a band size or possibly two hun.
I'm a 32 band, but found I needed a 36 for the first couple of weeks to accomodate the swelling. xx
Re: swelling?
Im a 34 band but I had to get 36 bands for the first few weeks due to swelling. Make sure to get a low band sports bra so it doesnt rub your incisions (if u went under the breast)

Re: swelling?
I'm normally a 34 band but wore a 36 for about 2 weeks as the smaller badn was too tight.
I got some cheap sports bra's from tesco for this time until i had an idea of the size I would be, they were really good to start with but have a seam across the nip area in the cup and started to rub once my nips got sensitive !!
I bought mine from Debenhams - if you search sports bra's and look for the "gorgeous" ones - Very comfy xx

Re: swelling?
It was weird. I was looking through my pictures last night and saw a pic of me 4 days post op and you could really see the swelling at the top. At the time I didn't think I had that much.
I bought Tesco sports bras and even now still use them. X

Re: swelling?
Hi,i think mine swelled again a few days post op,i was warned it would happen. For a comfortable sports bra id suggest the neon pink/green one from la senza as theyre quite thick in material and supportive and look quite good x
