how do I get my ticker working?? Empty how do I get my ticker working??

I cannot get my ticker too show up on my posts. I take off the initial bit and the bit right at th end as I was shown how to BUT the ticker is only viewable as a preview on my profile and not on any posts I make?

Any pointers before I chuck the bloody laptop at the wall would be great xxx
