Wishes it was easy :-(
Hiya Girls!
Well basically i had my first consultation with Dr Frati at Rubicon on saturday, i was really excited before hand but when i left i just felt disapointed, he hadn explained thing enough to me, he assummed i should know it all. But the problem i have is that i used to be a 32F but had my daughter and am now a 32C/D so big difference, also the left boob is smaller and this is one of the reasons i want implants to even them out, but i got told that i cant even them out as there is only a 50cc difference between so i cant get the implants to match that?? is that true? its so disapointing, as i just want to be proud of my boobs and not always thinking people are looking at them coz they r different sizes.
Plus i havent even started saving for my surgery yet it just feels its going to be such a long journey, Dont get me wrong i know its not quick or easy, but im just impatient, im tempted to get a loan out or finance, i just really want implants, its all i think about at the moment, does any1 recommend getting a loan or finance?
Anyway im going to book a few more consultations with different companies and see what advise i get,
sorry for the long moan girls! How has ur Easter gone? xx

Hi Nikki, glad to read you haven't lost heart after your consultation babe.
I did find it strange that your surgeon recognised a 50cc difference between your breasts but said he couldn't make that difference up with differing implant sizes as there are actually implants he could use to make up a difference of 50ccs.
I think you're absolutely doing the right thing in seeking other opinions hun and I'm sure you'll be given advice that better suits your needs, so good luck with the other consultations.
As for loans and finance, that all depends on what you can afford babe.
Starting a boobie fund (savings account just for your boobs) is a good idea, you can work out how much you afford to put in the account each month and save that way, the money soon tots up! And if you get fed up waiting along the way, you can always reassess what you can then afford, maybe put what you've saved toward your op and and possibly then finance the rest which won't cost as much.... Just something for you to think about babe. xxx

I dunno maybe he thought that the difference was so small it would be even less noticable after your ba, so you don't need different sizes?
I think this is why it's a good idea to see more than one surgeon for consults, cos thier opinions might differ.
As for getting the money together, I've never been able to save in my life, but if you're going to have to get a loan you'll obviously have to make the repayments on it afterwards, so either way you're going to have to find money each month, you might as well start now!
That's what I'm doing, I'll probably need to get a small amount of credit to pay for my ba, but in the meantime I've been saving as much as I can. I opened an ISA only for boobie money and even I'm surprised by how much I've been able to put aside. When I started saving I was just trying to get the 500 odd for a deposit then get a loan for the rest, but as it turned out I'm having a baby first so I've got nearly the full amount saved now lol.
xx

Re: Wishes it was easy :-(
hello
just thought id let you know that i saw both transform and mya who do a years interest free credit as long as you put down a deposit (for mya had to be £2500 and transform minimum of £500). This may help you get there sooner if you can save a bit first!
Prob best you see another surgeon from sounds of things as doesnt sound like he has filled you with confidence! I actually came out feeling a lot worse about my body after seeing my first consultant as he referred to my chest as deformed and tutted a bit!!! needless to say i didnt want him operating on me!
good luck xx

Good luck Nikki, Keep trying different surgeons and you will get the boobs you want in the end I'm sure.
I like the idea to start saving now and then get finance to top it up when you are ready to take the plunge ... wish i had done that lol, I typically bunged the lot on a BMI card!! But there we go hee hee, I will have my boobs so don't mind being a bit skint for a while!!
Once again good luck with the rest of your consults,
xx
