How many consultations?
I was just wondering how many consultations people have with different surgeons before they finally decide on a particular person?
Is it normal to see a number of different surgeons or do people usually go with the first surgeon that they see?
Thanks

Re: How many consultations?
I saw three and went with the one I felt comfortable with. It is very much a personal choice I think.

Re: How many consultations?
I too saw 3 different surgeons at 3 different companies and then based my decision on the one I had a connection with and felt most comfortable with. x x

Re: How many consultations?
I only saw one - I decided a year before my ba that I wanted him to do it and when I met him knew he was the man for the job - am so glad I trusted my instincts. I knew I wanted my ba at the Nuffield hospital too - it never crossed my mind to go to any of the companies like Mya or Transform.

Re: How many consultations?
I think whats right is different for everyone. I was/am perfectly happy with my surgeon and he was the first surgeon I saw. I've had only one consultation before booking my OP.
