How many consultations? Empty How many consultations?

Post by misty23 6th January 2013, 10:39 am

Ok so I've had my initial consultation and been given an idea of the size of implants I should have. I'm wanting to book my surgery in Feb (half term!!!!) but am thinking I should be having more discussions with surgeon?? Just seems weird chatting for half an hour then booking and going for it?? Do they usually want to see you again? Has anyone else just had one consultation and then gone in for op? xxx

We wound always recommend at least 3 consultations with surgeons, just to make sure you find the right one for you. You can always book more than one appointment, I had 2 with my chosen surgeon, I needed to go over size again.

Definitely have a couple of consultations so you have both surgery plans and surgeons to compare to ensure you're making the right choice.

When you've chosen your sure its definitely advisable to go back and see hem again. The first consultation generally goes rit over your head due to excitement and you either forget to ask questions you want answers to or sizing being probably the biggest issue women have can be gone over with again, maybe armed with further information and possibly pictures of boons you like to ensure you're both reading from the same page and you feel happy coming away that you have made with the help of your surgeons guidance the right decisions. I had 3 consultations with my chosen surgeon, cost me £100 for my first but then you could have as many as you wanted after that I think consultations are so important xx
