Hi my year,

I'm with Dr Solomos. I said I wanted to be a full C/ small D so I'm getting 310cc but I've decided I want to be a D now! The size thing is confusing me!

i am meant to be 330 cc for a d cup but because they have changed their implants i think their sizes have changed a lady on here who was meant to have 330 has now got 365 with the new implants. It is confusing but I think your surgeon should be able to recommend the right size for the size that you want.

I have my pre op next week, so I'll talk to them again about sizes. I was told that I should end up being a D, but will be no smaller than a full C. What confuses me is how I will be a D with 310, yet you will be a D with 330 or 365. It seems like quite a difference for the same size :S

Looks like we all want to be similiar sizes so will be interesting how we ll turn out! I also want to be large C or D thinking somewhere between 300 and 340?? who knows, it's a minefield!

ok from what i know they said 330 for a d but when it is swollen straight after op i will be a dd possibly. However originally hmg used pips implants and thats when I was quoted 330. Hmg have now changed to using allegen implants and apparently these sizes come up different. I haven't been quoted 365 cc but I am just going by someone else on here who said they were going to have 330cc and then was told they were having 365 on the day. I will not find out my size until op day. Hope that makes sense. Oh also I think with sizes it depends on original size of breasts and whether overs or unders as that all makes a different to end result . x

the sizes confuse me also, i started out at 320cc then up to a 380cc now he has decided a 450cc is better for me, im thinking i will be a E cup, i hope no bigger, i havent a large frame so dont want to topple over lol
im getting sooo excited but at the same time extremly worried,
the idea of a general petrifies me, dont no how they are going to get me down to the room, i will be trying to climb out the window,
i am a belly sleeper also so expecting some sleepless nights, and not being able to cuddle my kids worrys me,

i haven't been told what size i'll end up, but the nurse said to buy a d cup bra, i'm gonna have 375, 400 or 425 which ever he thinks looks best on the day.
i have brought a d cup bra and a dd.....i hope they are gonna fit!
only 8 days left for me x

Got my sports bra yesterday :D Asda do Post surgery sports bra's, only £6, my friend used them after her BA and said they were great!
I'm a belly sleeper too Bumblelady, very worried I wont be able to sleep, or I'll forget, turn over and squish them!! xx

no i haven't been advised to detox, why have you?

Hey may buddies! i'm going to highgate on 11th may for my BA, im excited but along with the other girls in this group i am completely confused about the sizing! i was 315cc with the PIP implants but since changing to allergan i have been told i can have 310cc or next size up 365cc to achieve a D/DD!? im sure thy know wat thy are talking about so shud be fine but i am worrying xx

jo jo i was told to detox from alcohol for a week before and cigarettes if i smoked. I was also given a booklet talking about detox in caffine, chocolate etc with ideas for food. They said that detox before helps the body to be healthier which equals better recovery time after the op.

elaine they must know what they are doing at hmg, I have asked about my size since they changed implants and I have been told he will go through it on surgery date but the difference from my original implant would only be a teaspoon amount. hmmm

elaine just read your implant query on other post. hmg are rubbish with patient care huh? Are you going to try see surgeon before op again then, it is bad that they seem to fob us off!

I've just read the other posts too. I don't think your surgeon would have wanted you to feel like this. When I had the meeting with my surgeon, I felt happy and really trusted what he said, but now I'm feeling really confused about size. I don't think this is his fault at all, it's just because now I've had time to think about it, and read all the post on here, I have questions I didn't know to ask at the time. Have you had your pre op? I called hmg last week to ask about the pip situation and to tell them I was thinking about changing size, and the lady said I could go through sizing again at my pre op next week. She did say that if I wanted to change, I'd have to see my surgeon again. He's only down once before my op on the 14th, so I'd definitely call tomorrow and find out what date he's around. After reading the other posts about 'I'm this size, but I look like this size', the main thing I want to know is if the 310cc is going to make me measure a d, but look a b... I don't want to pay all that money to look one size bigger!

yer i think your right faye, i am gonna arrange to see my surgeon again hopefully! i dont want to end up being smaller than wat i had hoped for so i think im jut gonna go for it and get the bigger size! he knows i want to be a D so he isnt going to use the implants if they are gonna make me an E or an F!!! i think im just panicking about the jump from 310 to 365?! xx
