Hey girls,

Just put 4 more pics up. They don't look quite so bumpy on top compared to 4 days ago. What do you think?

Glad you are pleased with your nose stilton, bet you feel so much better now that your splint is off! Glad your scars are better than you expected.

Glad you are not in too much pain my year, you are only 2 days post op so you are bound to still be very tired so keep on resting as much as you can.

I found it quite hard to drive at first stilton, changing gear was hard and I had to use two hands for the handbrake! But I have been out a few times and it's getting easier now, you should be ok by next Tuesday.

Just had a look at your latest pics faye, looking good, I think they do look a bit smoother now, I suppose they change slightly and drop more every day.

Right, the pics are up now - couldn't get them on last night.

I didn't take very good pre-op photos of my nose but you can see the changes. He has gotten rid of the huge blobby bulb on the end and the small bump. My nose doesn't point down anymore either.

Ignore the no make-up though - not allowed any on yet due to the swelling which is a nightmare - makes me look very tired and the brusing doesn't help.

Boobs are feeling really swollen today - is it normal for them to feel this swollen 9 days after the op - they didn't feel like this in the first week?

Just had a look at your latest pics stilton, you must be so happy! Your boobs look so natural and your nose looks just perfect! Yes I think it is normal for your boobs to be swollen after 9 days, mine felt worse than the first week but it does pass, mine felt terribly tight and swollen, it was so uncomfortable!

I have no idea if i had dissovable stiches or not so not sure if they will attempt to take them out although its only been 5 days. my mum is coming with me but also my 3yr old so not sure how that will go. Haven't needed much painkillers haven't had any since yesterday at 8pm and they were the only ones i had all day so, other then walking around really slow I think the healing must be going well.

I don't feel too bad today - my boobs are still quite swollen but not as bad as they were yesterday. Getting really fed up with these sports bras though and cant wait to be back in normal ones. They are so difficult to hide under my normal work clothes and look very unattractive.

Have quite enjoyed having 2 weeks off work too and not looking forward to going back on Tuesday!!

Hope your check up appointment goes ok today my year, it's good that you haven't needed many painkillers.

I'm not sure if mine are still swollen or not, they seem to have shrunk a bit so hopefully that is all the swelling gone now. I'm fed up with the sports bras as well, they are so uncomfortable, especially to sleep in, mine are either too loose or too tight or too itchy, very annoying!

hi had my stiches out didn't really feel anything think im a bit numb there, she said i am bruised more on one side and i am still swollen. I am not so keen on these sports bras either i never know if i am even wearing the right size because sometimes it is more comfortable then others. I have to go back in 5 weeks for post op with surgeon, i am also allowed a shower now so can stop the shallow bath yay! I feel a bit more uncomfortable this evening think its because it was my first day out, probably took it out of me.
stilton must be hard to discuise with work clothes, I find i am not sure what to wear, i feel like just covering up as it just feels like such a foreign body at the moment.

Welcome to May Buddies poshhugo and MeMe123. I'm having trouble sleeping as well poshhugo, it's a nightmare isn't it, the most I have managed to sleep is 4 hours at a time, it's driving me crazy! Most people seem to use picture trail for their pics MeMe. x

Post by faye 1st June 2010, 7:43 pm

Hi my year,

I spent the weekend doing a lot of lifting, most of it was fairly heavy, and also did a lot of driving. Probably wasn't a good idea, but I feel ok, and haven't had any pain. I started sleeping on my side again this weekend... I've been quite careful, but seems to be fine :) I'm going to take some pics in a bit.

Hope everyone else is well x

I'm doing well faye, I think! Had some random pains on one side but that seems to have settled now. How are you doing? I'm still having trouble sleeping though, can't wait until I can sleep properly without having to stay on my back all night! x

I'm doing well too thanks Faye - how about you?

I have had some odd throbbing sensations in my left boob, which the girls on here assure me is normal and am even managing some sleep on my side although not all night yet.

The only problem I have now is my new kitten seems obsessed since i've had the BA and wants to keep jumping up on my chest all the time when i'm in bed - cue lots of sleepless nights as have to keep distracting him until he settles back to sleep next to me and not on me - scared he will do some damage!!!

Hello Giles...I have just seen this forum fo us May girls!! Lol...im a bit late!

I had my op on the 26th May, all going well had my 1st appointmnt with the surgeon today and he took the plasters off so all good at the moment! Although my nipples are tingling now...maybe its cause he pulled the plasters off so quickly!!!

I had a nipple lift & implants...trying to wait patiently now for them to settle....hope they hurry!!!
