Did you get the person who came with you to stay at the hospital or did they go home again and then come back later on to get you?

Good question Another Daycase question 727935 my husband is taking me and staying - I asked and they said he is welcome to stay as should be back in my room no longer than an hour after being taken down to theatre xx

I took my boyfriend in, they made him wait in the waiting room while I had my op and then they went and got him when they had put me comfortably in my room. But he annoyed the hell out of me moaning he was tired so I kicked him out and phoned him when I wanted him to come back. To be honest I was quite happy just watching TV eating and drinking tea by myself. Phoned my mum, took a pic on my phone and sent it to my friends (it was just me in a bandage led down in bed).

i took my boyfriend in and he went off when i had my op and just went for sumthing to eat then came back few hours later and sat with me till i went home
