Re: what to take for daycase
Hi there, congrats on booking your op, mine is the day after yours!
I know some girls have taken Arnica, however, I would say it's best to ask your ps first whether you should take it, my ps told me not to if I haven't taken it before.
I'm getting very nervous too and anxious about it all but I am excited too! x x

Re: what to take for daycase
Yeah it's my first BA or any operation, never stayed in hospital or anything before. I'm petrified of needles and have a very low pain threshold, goodness knows how I will cope with it all, just taking each day as it comes and this forum has been a godsend to me!
Awwww well it's still an op, so i'm sure it's only natural to feel nervous, even second time round. x x

Re: what to take for daycase
Hi
I'd recomend taking in some face/wet wipes, vaseline/lip seal, most importantly a shirt that you can slip into and button up as you wont be able to lift your arms up, your sports bra if your not buying one of theres and a mag or book to read. Other than that everything is provided for you. If i think of anything else i'll let you know
I started using bio oil on my boobs two weeks before and heard some girls on here were using arnica so i think either is fine. I only had a very small amount of bruising so i'm glad i went with the bio.
Good luck

Re: what to take for daycase
Dressing gown as you walk down to theatre in those lovely backless gowns lol and some slippers, I took PJ's (button up) just in case I had to stay over night if there was a problem, your sports bra's I took a mag to read before hand but I didn't have chance to read it as went down so quick (1st in) and couldn't concentrate after, just watched TV. Also took wet wipes and snacks (cause you only get a sandwich for a day case). I just took pull on trousers and a zip up hoodie to wear home (looked like I was going to the gym). I did take a brush to get rid of my bed head but had to get BF to brush it for me.

Forgot to say, yes I took arnica, and also went with Transform. Not sure if it helped, but I didn't bruise, I was swollen though.
