When will this darn boob drop??!!

Arrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!

I know it's early days, and I should treat each boob as separate operations, but I'm getting sooo impatient!

My leftie is looking fine and quite natural, but my rightie is still tight and round and looks so fake. It's softened a bit, but not as much as the other. I've started to panic that I'm going to end up with uneven boobs. I'm hoping it's just because I'm right-handed though, and that muscle is tighter.

How long does it usually take for them to drop?

Would love some reassurance as I'm quite worried about this...

months hun it will drop mine took about 6 months u have to be patience diff ops each breast diff healing times

Could be a good couple of months yet or it might not even up 100% as nobody's boobs are completely symmetrical x

My right one still hasnt dropped properly, its getting there but it still has a way to go before looking as good as leftie.. *whisper* My left was always better looking them my right anyway, sshhh, dont want righty to hear and get moody, might jump back up to my chin lol

You are still very early post op hunny, i would say if it hasnt dropped by 6 months then you may need a pocket revision but that is rare and im sure it will drop slowly. Just takes alot of patience pills!
I think when you come out of your sports bra you will see alot of changes xxx

Thanks girls - you've really made me feel better.

It's just so strange that some girls with unders are told not to wear a bra atall for 6 weeks, so that they drop, yet I've been told to wear a sports bra day and night. It makes sense to me not to wear a bra but I can't really go against what my surgeon has said can I?

Arrrggghh!

Dont worry they will drop anyway, even while you're wearing a bra, a sports bra cannot stop an implant from dropping inside your body, but they will get softer and settle more after its off. I found rubbing in cream everyday helped too hun, maybe ask if you can do that.
I would prefer to wear one as i would be worried about bottoming out without one x

this bra debate is strange isn't it? my ps thinks that unless you have big implants it's not necessary to wear it all the time so when it starts feeling tight or uncomfortable you can take it off no probs. I'm still wearing mine but I'm glad i bought a bra extension as my side swelling has gone up today!

Yeah the bra extenders are great, aren't they!

Oooh I'd forgotten about bottoming out. Ok, I will stop stressing and will carry on wearing my sports bra most of the time until May. And I vow to be more patient!!

It's not atall noticeable in clothes or even in a bra, just when naked so I really shouldn't complain. I just have one natural looking one and one with a slightly rounded top.

Oh and Nads - cream is a great idea but I've tried using moisturiser and unfortunately it gave me spots! Maybe I'm not using the right one...it was a Boots own cocoa-butter based moisturiser...

Hi Hun

Try E45 or something that's not perfumed. Hopefully that will be better. I use E45 and it's lovely - it really moisturises nicely.

Hiya, my right boob never did drop after first BA, hence the re-op but this time i think they both look like they have droppd nicely already. At my 1 week check up the nurse said that my left one had dropped but my right one was still slightly swollen and high and it was more than likely because i am right handed so the muscle is stronger.So i wouldnt worry yet hunnie, im sure it will catch up in no tme x

I am only one week post op, and my right one has dropped more than the other one.
I was told not to wear a bra at all for 6 weeks to help it drop quicker.
My lefty is not in the pocket feels quite weird and the other is about two sizes bigger atm~!!
cant wait till they settle down..
