Back home with boobs!!!!

Hi guys!

Had my BA on Monday and spent two nights at the hospital. Got back home yesterday and caught up on some well needed sleep last night. My sister washed my hair for me this morning and we had a good look at my new aquisitions!

Wayhayyyyy!!!

Very pleased so far, not too much pain, more achy from the pressure of the strap. Managed to wash off most of the surgeon's felt tip art work so they don't look quite so weird as yesterday!! So far so good!

It's amazing to ba able to look down and think 'That's me!' and not padding/socks/rice/chicken fillets!!!

Yep, I'm a happy gal!

I see that you stayed in 2 nights - was that by choice? I am due to have my BA and was planning to go as a day case but havent completely made my mind up yet. From your experience would you have considered a day case?

It IS a great feeling, Claireyfairey!!

My sis is the greatest - wont let me lift a finger, sorting the kids, making dinner, doing the washing, you name it! I could get used to this!

To answer your question Tilly, two nights is what my surgeon wanted. He put in drains which didn't come out till just before I was discharged. To be honest, I wouldn't have wanted to be a day case because I didn't feel ready to go home after a few hours, but maybe I'm a bit of a wuss! Of course, two nights does put the price up somewhat, but I had already decided on my surgeon.
