Back home
Hi girls , back home from hospital . My boobs feel like rocks and are sitting really high but glad those drains are out . It's just a case of healing now . Got my appointment Saturday for a dressing change. Just feels like an elephant is sitting on my chest . Love to know what size I am . Had 410 in right and 370 in left. Xxx

Welcome back Anne and congratulations!
Wow, those are gonna be some boobies!
It's hard to tell during the early stages of healing what size youlol be but at a guess....I'm gonna say a G cup. Don't quote me on that though!!!! Hahahaha sizing is a huge enigma which none us really know the answers to. Xx

Re: Back home
They don't lol
You're just gonna have to be as patient as the rest of us and wait out the day your surgeon gives you the all clear to wear wired bra.
That could 4, or 6 or even 12 weeks post-op it's entirely up to your surgeon. Only then can you go to a 'fitter' in a lingerie shop such as bravissimo and find out your sizing.
Remember - your surgeon doesn't work in cup sizes at all, they work in volume (CCs), so they won't have a clue what 'cup size' you are at all. Xx

Re: Back home
It's not adviseable Anne. Your boobs ar going to be changing so much in the next coming weeks/months.
So when you do get the all clear, even then it's really only advisable for your first visit to get what's essential.
We've a couple of ladies here who still went up a cup size 6months post-op and I think another is our record breaker at 9 months post-op! We call this phase when boobs go up in size which we mostly all do - 'fluffing'. I think we've only had a couple of ladies here of the thousands that didn't go up in size not fluff.
So you have a lot to look forward to. But you also need to have a lot of patience to get there.
Those of us who have been there and done it will all recognise the excitement once you have your new boobs to want to bypass all the boring steps and just jump to the good stuff lol. But it's so important to just take things easy.
I mentioned thinking of your boobs like a Christmas present earlier...well, if you start asking sizes you'll ruin the big surprise won't you.
It really is another part of your journey that is so, so special. Planning your first fitting. Calling ahead so you have your very own time spot and you get the full attention from your fitter to buy your first bras. Just like your Breast Augmentation day this too is a special day you don't forget.
Most places wouldn't fit you anyway so soon after surgery. Remember you have your scars that are so new and putting wires near those could result in infection from the pressure and ruin what could have been a nice neat tiny scar.
I'm so sorry that probably wasn't what you wanted to read at all. But it really for the best, for you and your healing if you wait. Your surgeon will be the one to guide you

Re: Back home
My boobs are up to my chin at the moment and I said to the nurse today about them dropping and fluffing and she said they won't . That worries me. Her words were cheap implants fluff. I have anatomical cohesive gel. I need them to drop . They are sitting up like beetle headlamps xx

Re: Back home
Ignore the nurse. If we have a pound for every nurse 'and surgeon' who said implants don't drop n fluff we'd be pretty damn rich now let me tell ya!
They WILL drop babe, but there no guarantee that everyone will fluff.
The ONLY implants that don't drop are polyeurothane implants. Xx
