Hi girls. Just got back. Yesterday could not have gone smoother. My first GA so was really nervous but just pretended i was at the dentist which i dont mind and on the hole journey. Op was 6pm bang on time woke up just after 8.30pm. Was so pleased with my self for going for it! felt so buzzing i couldn`t think of sleeping ( plus i had those leg pump things on squeezing alternate lags every 5 seconds which was noisey). Watched tv till 4am then had a little doze till 6am again wide awake. Finding it difficult to say what i think of the result yet as all i can see is two very high up lumps with very little under my nipple? had 300 done they just feel like high rocks at the mo but after reading lots of post on here i`m sure they are going to drop (bl**dy hope so) The left side is more painfull , not that much swelling i dont think. My ps told me to bring in a d cup sports bra, i bought a mark`s one it`s far too big. Keep getting waves of dizzyness too since i`ve been home and feel a little sick but my experience of yesterday was great and easy so thankyou to all you ladies who say "enjoy your day dont be nervous " you helped me to focus on the positive and it worked cheers Wend xxx oh i hope dimpledee got on ok was thinking of her yesterday too x

Re: back home
Leg pumps are what some surgeons use to improve the circulation in your legs to prevent DVTs post surgery x

Re: back home
Congrats Wend! Thanks for sharing. I'm going to borrow your calm & coolness when I go in January. Aren't leg pumps a precaution to blood clotting? I've had varicose veins injected twice- years and years ago. I've been told I might have the pumps too. Enjoy yr new friends xx
