Will I have to get a whole new wardrobe?!!!
Hey ladies,
Okay so I've just suddenly thought, well my partner has just pointed out, will my clothes (dresses and tops) no longer fit me after my op? I have fabulous clothes (I'm bit of a shopaholic!) and I didn't think of this....
I'm a 32A and hope to go up to a 32C or 32D and I currently wear size 6/8 tops and dresses. It doesnt matter but some of my items are lush and vintage. What did you ladies do? did you have to buy a whole new wardrobe? Mmmmm that could be fun, dragging my OH round the shops lol...
Oh well I will have my new and that's what matters the most!! x x

Yeah I know that would be fun but I love my clothes so much, it will be really hard and painful if i had to get rid of all my clothes!
But weighing it all up, new Vs giving clothes away, I would have to choose new everytime! x x

My worry is that I am tall (just under 6ft) and a lot of my tops are only just long enough. Once I have my boobies they may be even shorter!
But I currently own a lot of high neck tops and can't wait to go and buy some low ones!!!!!

Re: Will I have to get a whole new wardrobe?!!!
I didn't have to buy a new wardrobe nearly all my clothes fitted. Some shirts didn't, and a couple of fitted dresses.
Re: Will I have to get a whole new wardrobe?!!!
Oh okay that's good to know ladies, I suppose I will just play it by ear and once I have had the op, I will try all my clothes on and then see what fits and what doesn't.
Phewww at least some of my clothes will hopefully fit, otherwise I will have to sell them on ebay x x x

It is such a wonderfull feeling when that occurs.....gosh, I feel the glow within recalling that moment!! You just cant take the shirts off.....keep wanting to watch.....just one more pop.... back to the mirror again and again...did that really happen? for real!! Sheer bliss
Clothes will be the least of anyones concerns after, whole new you!! They just look and feel soooooooo much better with a curvy confident body and person in them!! A few shirts and loads of padding, bras, bikinis and gel fillits are worth the wonderfull feeling
Enjoy the wait girls!!!!!!

Tilly - I'm hoping me get my BA booked asap after my last consultation which is on the 22nd Feb(this was the first available date to see Mr Selvaggi who I have heard is really good too). Once I have picked my surgeon I will just go for the next available date, hopefully I won't have to wait all that long. I'm no good at the waiting game lol. I'll be too excited to just get it done.
Pinkbabe - that's good to know, it makes sense too that the tops and shirts with buttons will not fit and I can't wait to get rid of them!

Re: Will I have to get a whole new wardrobe?!!!
I'm a size 6/8 too and i was really worried about having to get rid of loads of clothes but actually almost everything still fits, even dresses and tops that were tight fitting on boobs in the first place still fit, just have to take a bit more effort to fasten them up!. The only things that don't are two dresses which are strapless with a zip fastening and the zip won't fully fasten anymore but they are both that kind of style that has no give in it and they were tight in the first place to make sure they stayed up so wasnt expecting them to fit once i had bigger :boobstick: also, the only other thing i have a problem with is button tops. they are really annoying because ones that are the right size for my shoulders etc and too tight on the chest now and liable to "pop" open or some of them don't actually fasten at all. They are the only thing ive had major issues with, had to get rid of a few work shirts and have trouble knowing what size to buy now because if i get a 10 they are baggy and not fitted but 8s won't stay closed!! i would say as long as you don't have too many button/ popper front fastening things, everything else should still fit you fine. I also went from a 32A to a 32C/32D/30D (depending on bra make) xxxxxxxx

All my clothes still fit me and I went from a A/B to an E or F! To be fair though I have been off work on maternity leave so I havent trie any work clothes on yet! My clothes fit better, especially strappy tops and backless maxi dress type, the boobies part is now filled yay! xx

Re: Will I have to get a whole new wardrobe?!!!
Thanks ladies for all your comments, it makes sense that the shirts or tight tops with buttons may no longer fit on the boobie area but I'm sure everything else will. To be honest, I only really wear shirts for work under my suits so if they don't fit it's not too bad as I will just get a new work wardrobe (any excuse!)
I can't wait to try on all my clothes once i've got boobies as I just know they will fit and fill out sooooo much better. Don't even get me started on gorgeous lingerie, I love underwear shopping and have vowed not to buy any more until after my op, OMG I can't believe that I will no longer be buying a 32A...wooooohooooo!!!!
