After op work wardrobe
Hi girlies,
Am hoping to be back at work pretty soon and taking it easy after my op. My sports bra is a bit of a beast. Did you guys wear looser fitting clothes to work straight after and then gradually build the tighter fitting stuff back in to your workwear? I don't want to go back to work and it be like BAM Keli got
Seems silly I know but this is for me, not for anyone else to gawp at or gossip about. How did you guys deal with this?
Starting to worry myself now. Not sleeping, getting spots, eating comfort food and getting ulcers.... I'm so damn hot right now! x

Re: After op work wardrobe
I went to work the first day in a loose fitting flowy top, but the 2nd day I had the guts to wear a vest top and little cardigan. It was obvious in this top, but then everyone knew I was having them done.
Re: After op work wardrobe
Yes do it slowly...blouse or top and a fine scarf draped around the neck and boobs should ease you in gently, Good Luck!! xx
Try and take it easy on yourself....most people wont notice, we are more aware than others. I have not told anyone apart from my daughter and closest friend. In fact just been on holiday with my mum in a bikini and guess what after worrying...not a word and she would say...even bought her her first bikini at the grand age of 84

Re: After op work wardrobe
This is my biggest worry too...
Everyone in work thinks im having two week break no oing on holiday and just doing jobs around the house... so just worried its gonna be so obvious when i go back.
Im not ashamed of having it done just not sure how mmy collegues will react and i dont want the whole of my workplace knowing (whicc im fairly sure it would be wild fire gossip)
Think Mia idea of a scarf is a good one.. and maybe shes right and its only us on here that are obsessed with boobs. Though in a strange way if no one notices - have i just just wasted 4k??

I know what you mean KKK!! But i wanted mine just for me to feel good about me and complete... and that's what i got and the way I like it. Everyone is different. but whatever the cost I am a new me and loving it I also wore little fine cardis or waistcoats or a vest/camitop with a blouse over...just as I always did with no boobs...to cover the boney chest....some girls pad themselves out gradually pre-op to soo noone starts the wild gossips. Good Luck Girls Boobs are the bestest gift ever!!!

Hey Keli! mia's given some good advice.
You can also start padding out your bra now, so the difference is minimal when you go back.
Also, wearing loose fitting blouses (Zara are great for these) will hide the new additions until you're ready to wear tighter tops etc

Re: After op work wardrobe
oh Keli - my dad text me about that saying to watch it tonight.. I ended up staying at the gym andmissing it - think Sky+ better be next on the list after boobs!
It's great that i'm not alone thinking about all this, think i'm driving everyone mad at home with witterings ;o)
My OH agrees with Mia that people even if they do notice won't ask... not something you can slip into conversation.. ive worked out its three weeks this Friday... more excited then worried!
Im finding it hard to resist the sales at the moment, but keeping getting reminded some of the clothes wont fit me after...Surely this isnt true or my work wardrobe wont fit me ayway!

Re: After op work wardrobe
Talking about work finding out....I wore my rice boobies to work at the weekend, as I've started a new job!! I didn't want them to all start gossiping once I had a nice full chest so I piled in my rice and stuck on a loose fitting top and prayed that the chuffing things wouldn't burst!!

Re: After op work wardrobe
Lol very funny, i have some really strange pictures in my head right now!
I work in a huge building with about 60/70 people in my office alone, and about 12 people on my team! i told all of my team and a few other people in the office too, i was so excited i couldnt keep it to myself! the girls on my team were as excited as i was and cant wait to see the results, one of them has even started saving for her BA since i announced my op!!
Its been really nice being able to share in the nervousness and excitement with them all, having said that i am a bit nervous about going back to work next week and havng everyone looking!! lol
But hey i paid a lot of money for these babies and im determined to be proud of them!!
