Hi, I used bra extenders for the swelling, as for sports bra sizes I am still confused about them. I had to wear a size smaller than expected for first week which was 34c then go up to 34d. I wore 34c for 6 days and it was hell, and am now in 34dd. My PS wants me to wear sports bras for 3 weeks only , but I don't feel ready for it, I think it would irritate my scars. So I am going to keep wearing until christmas, as many other girls have been told on here. Hope this helps a little bit.

xx

Hiya hun, I had Mr Adamo as well, he said don't bother with the sports bra if I didn't want to but at my post op the nurse said all the surgeons say something different but mya like to inforce the sports bra policy regardless. I liked having the choice but I didn't like not wearing one so wore it day and night.
I bought a selections of them ranging from 32d all the way up to 36f which I wore at night cos I didn't like the tighness of the bra at night. I'm not coming up to 6 weeks and still wearing 34f in a sports bra but will be 32f in normal bra's. Go a band size bigger, maybe 2 sizes just to be sure x

I was a 34a and had 325s, I went up to a 36DD sports bra for the first week but then have settled in 34D ever since, x

Oh I feel your frustration totally!

I bought a 36D for the swelling, two 34DD's - one in black and one in white and a 34D... I wore the 36 band for a couple of days and then switched to the 34D... the band was so irritating and I was fed up of sticking cotton wool under it so when it gets too much I put on my zip front M&S 34DD which is most definitely the most supportive bra. I checked with the nurse when having my strapping removed on Friday and she said any sports bra that feels comfortable and supportive for 6 weeks day and night...
