wish i would have the feeling back to them already
i had my ba done in june and i still can't feel from my nips down. today i had relatively itchy scars so i think maybe something's starting to happen
and when i pinch the numb skin after about 5 seconds i start to feel the sensation but it's like burning
they're just constantly freezing cold and numb and i want the feeling back already dammit lol i know it's cos that's where all the nerves will have been damaged and stuff but arggg it's been nearly half a yearrrrrrrrrrrrr
patience bock, patience... :'(

I know how you feel hun, mine are the same. I guess it can take 12months for all the feeling to come back altogether. x

Mine are still numb from the nip down, i dont think the feeling will come back there, but its what happens when you go from no boobs to D cups - nerves get damaged, but its a small price to pay for nice boobies x
Re: wish i would have the feeling back to them already
Mine are like this too and it's really the only tiny regret I have about getting a BA. Well, it's not really a regret because I don't regret getting them done AT ALL - I just think back to how sensitive my nipples used to be feel a bit sad. Are your actual nipples numb bock or just the skin below? My nipples are numb which I hate. xx

HI bock
on my 6 week checkup my surgeon asked me if I had any sensation at all.. I told him not really but now and then they went wild and he told me that is a good sign so huni if they are burning and bits are itchy I think you're in luck hun! give it bit more time! mine still have numb parts and do their own thing occasionally but I def have feeling coming back more in rightie than my naught leftie tho!!

Mine did actually take a full 12 months for the numbness to subside!... I thought it would never happen, but it did... you just have to be patient hunni... xxxx
Re: wish i would have the feeling back to them already
I actually think my nips are more sensitive now although I have very little feeling underneath my boobs where the implant sits. I think I've just got used to it now tho.

Hey hun had mine done in may and one side from nip down has come back and the other is catching up. Like you it got itchy and also noticed some shooting pains. One side hasn't changed yet but is slowly coming back. Patients hun.

when i spoke to my surgeon he said one of the down sides of a ba is you can loose all the sensation and sometimes not get it back. or could take months to come back hun xxx

Hi Bock,
I am nearly 6 and a half months post op.
I had no feeling whatsoever in my right nipple but it is starting to come back slowly. The left has always been fine.
Both boobs are numb underneath. I'm hoping it will come back but I've heard it can either take up to a year or not at all.
Fingers crossed eh?

Same here, numb underneath and one nipple is still dead to the world. But because I had an uplift aswell, my skin still hurts on the top where its not numb. Dont know which is worse really, numb or pain.. Small price to pay though, would do it again

I dont have feeling from my scars up to my areola but nips ok not as sensitive as they were but thats ok. It does feel wierd but I dont care really and if I got the feeling back now (which I doubt) it would just be a bonus thats all .

Re: wish i would have the feeling back to them already
aww thanks girls thats so reassuring! I knew it would be a downside but a lady i've been healing with got mega sensitive boobs after about 4 weeks and now her boobs are as they've always been just bigger the lucky cow lol
if i pinch my nipples, they burn after about 5 seconds so there must be some nerves connected, the feeling seems to be very gradually moving round, even since i've posted this thread..the feeling is working it's way round through my clevage and under but nips are no different except when pinched.
wah
worth it though deinitely!

ah ok i dont feel as worried now then thanks everyone!
i was exfoliating today actually and went across a scar and felt a shooting feeling through my entire boob so there must be potential feelings there!

I'm really sad as I went to an Ann Summers party yesterday and they had some of that nipple gel, all my friends could feel it but me and my other friend who'd had a BA at around the same time as me couldn't feel a thing....:(
Really want some feeling to come back!

My left nipple never lost sensation, was lucky to have the feeling in it as soon as I came around from the op and it's very sensitive at the mo... My right nipple still "works" if you know what I mean but I cant feel it... it stand to attention and I don't feel a thing!! My old boss told me about the cold boobies, she says hers are always cold! Defo worth it I agree xxx

To add, I had a feeling if I had any numbness it was more likely to be in my right nip as years ago as a teen I had that one pierced??

Not sure about pierced ones hun, but you will have lots of changes to come yet, mine were normal right after op too, then super sensitive after a few weeks, then a little number a few months on xkellie wrote:To add, I had a feeling if I had any numbness it was more likely to be in my right nip as years ago as a teen I had that one pierced??

Well it's a stab in the dark if it stays numb I spose! I took it out when I was about 18, so quite a few years ago!!!
