Got my steristrips off! yey!!!

Finally got them off and can now have a shower! still no baths though! boo hiss!! lol
My scars look quite good but one is in the crease and one is only half in the crease then goes lower but the nurse said that side is still a bit high so time will tell. I will take some photos tomoz when me cam batteries have charged!

Aww great hun, glad they're looking good they're going to get better and better, one of my incisions is slightly higher in the crease than the other xxx

That's great news, bet you were relieved. Have they told you to put anything back over your scars, or do you just have to leave them uncovered now ?

Bettyboop i can leave them totally off now!
Didnt sleep very well last night as i had a lot of pain in my right boob! When the nurse was taking the steristrip off the crease she pulled it really quickly and the stitch that is still sticking out was stuck to it and it pulled all the way along the scar!! I wanted to cry it hurt so much! I know it was an accident but i think it really upset my boob as i had stabbing pains all night :( Its settled now though so im not worried but by god it hurt!

Ooh well done! I've been wondering when I can ditch mine. I left mine off by accident last night and had absolutely no probs so I was tempted to just leave them off but wasn't sure if it was a few days too early?
I think I may try and get to 3 weeks and then bin the tape as it's annoying! I can still see stitches, they're quite dark.
So are you putting anything on them now hun (like bio-oil etc) or just leaving them alone?
