I rang my PS secetary yesterday who is chasing the hospital for the information on implants, i can trust that she will get it sorted as she is very good.

my Z Bra arrived today...another step closer. Any of you taking arnica tablets?? I have been told to take them 2 weeks before & 2 weeks after....but they do make me feel sicky...was told 2 tablets 3 times a day but i am giong to cut down i can't keep feeling sicky from them :-(

Just had my hospital ring me about my implants and there guarentee. . . . Its a lifetime one and i will get my information pack on them when i get there. They have reassured me that everything will be fine and that no one has had any problems as yet so and just chilling out now December Buddies! - Page 5 184153

Im not taking arnica as my ps said that it doesnt really matter. Guess everyone is different. APart from that just got to get a magazine nearer to the time or sumint to read.

Georgie just depends what you have to start with aswell which in my case is nothing lol x

HS, what kind of implants are you getting?

As for Arnica, my nurse told me to take it 4 days before surgery and a week after it just, so we'll see if it does any good lol.

They were a french company who have been took over by Mentor. They had a better breast width for my shape than most other makes. Im have round textured, sensitive ones so they are not hard or really squishy just in the middle December Buddies! - Page 5 70324

My ps has not used them alot since they were a new company on the market as she doesnt like being the "guinea pig" with new products but she has doen some research on them and they have been out for a while now and she's had some good reports back from other surgeons x

Oirishetz - I was also told not to eat spicy things, well mainly things containing garlic....from my co-ordinator not PS, reason being garlic thins the blood. BUT.....i have a blood problem & have to have a blood thinning injection on sunday so me eating garlic really is neither here or there....i need my blood thin December Buddies! - Page 5 70324

Helena - Your implants sound just the ticket :-) i never knew how many diff sorts etc were out there!!! i just though here you are one lot & be done. Good job really as we're all different :-) x

Well i am counting down the hours now. I have stopped my arnica ,for now anyway, & i don't feel as sick! I might take it on friday but reduce the dosage.....hmmmmmmm

I got told not to eat garlic either Stephy, and i love garlic thats been hard for me!! also have stop the alcohol too!
I too thought there was one make and size and thats it but how wrong i was.

Trust me your OH will love them :-) i am sooooooo nervous today i am begginning to wonder if its nerves making me feel sick? I am having a glass of wine with dinner to hopefully settle me....... i wasn't told anything about alcohol, my booket about everything just says none the day before, but i am not about to go & get wasted....lol & will def not have anything as of tomorrow.

I am also pretty sure they won't look weird :-) i reckon you'll just love them :-)

after the op but it will settle with healing, also because i am an a/aa cup i have no natural "crease" for my boobies so she had got to make me one and give my implants extra support inside to hold them up so i dont bottom out.
She specialises in reconstructing breasts after a mastectomy so i faith she will do her best.

I neva even knew what turberous breast was untill elaine said, but im not worried as i have seen her work on my cousin and hers look fab!!
My admission is 07:00 and my op is about 13:00 so got ages to wait!! But that time will fly i bet.

Am having a takeaway tonight!! yum yum!! and yet another busy weekend to try and get stuff done before saturday, atleast i wont have much time to think about it all x

Thats exactly how i feel!! I just want it here and now!! lol Nevamind will soo be on the road to recovery!! Hey girls!! Oh my god single digits for all!! LolOirishetz what implants you having I see your with transform too? Aww bless ya helenascania I get teary as well is a bit of a rollercoaster ride of emotions, keep panicing about my implants cause there are cases of the sicilone bleedin out and effecting ur lymph nodes If they rupture! However is a small chance but has kept me up all last night thinkin about it! I rele wanted the inspira ones ages ago but had issues over price because they were goin to charge me 1200 more for them and I couldn't justify that much money but now havin doubts!!! Stephy- the uni work is slowly disappearing haha still gettin way to distracted tho hehe xxxxx
