Cold
Hi there,
Well I'm doing ok and seem to be healing ok too but I have just started with cold today and it is killing me when I sneeze. Do you think having the cold will effect the healing process? Can't believe of all the times to get cold it's now xx

Re: Cold
lol sneezing and laughing can be really annoying. I don't think it will affect your healing. More like your body will be so concentrated on healing your boobs that you might take a little longer to get over your cold. Plenty of vitimin C for your cold and lots of rest and you will be fine.

Re: Cold
vit c is great but don't forget the zinc! zinc and vitamin c together is more effective than one on its own. And water and lots of sleep too. Both really help. Vit c needs to be taken frequently when you are sick... a doctor said it on GMTV so it must be true. : )

Hope you feel better soon hun, if you were going to get a cold it was probably better to have it now rather than days before your op otherwise that would have been something else to worry about on top of all that pre-op stress! Just rest up, plenty of vit c and TLC xx

Re: Cold
Ouch!! I can only imagine how it must hurt when you sneeze. I'm sure you will be fine, just keep the boob area as clean as you can and keep washing your hands.

Re: Cold
What a bummer and a downer on such a great time in your life. I know exactly how you feel with the cold, i've had mine since Tuesday night and just about getting over it now, grrrr
If you feel your going to sneeze, maybe push a pillow up against your boobs so that you don't move them too quickly when you sneeze. Hope you feel better soon and glad to have you back x
