I know I'm probably just worrying but my operation is Thursday and I've woken up this morning with a blocked nose. There's nothing else wrong with me, just literally a blocked up nose. Will they still operate? x

I was all congested on the run up and still am, by time the day came tho it wasn't bothering me but the nurse did ask me hv u had a cough or cold so least u know that's covered x

Hun, I was full of could, sore throat & everything and was so worried they would cancel my operation, I took so much honey & lemon. I personally most of it was hayfever & stress as I kept thinking it was too good to be true.
When I got to the hospital I didn't mention my cold, all they said is as long as my blood pressure was ok & I didn't have a temperature everything was good to go x

As long as its JUST a cold and not a chest infection, you should be fine. Do tell them beforehand so they know what theyre doing if something happens. If it gets worse, see your GP, but in the meantime, rest up and plenty of natural remedies, honey&lemon etc.
