EMERGENCY! Sizing Dilemma and just DAYS to go!!!
:pale: :pale: :pale:
Hey girls,
Pleeeeeeease help!
Oh god I have left it so late and now I am panicking! My BA is on 5th October and I am still going mad over sizing! Well see I need an uplift too so the surgeon said that I shouldn't go TOO big or it can put pressure on stitching and sutures and may also more likely droop again later if they are too heavy.
But, I am unsure of what to expect with size. The only sizes discussed were 240CC and 270CC (I dunno if there is any difference to the sizing since these are Nagor Impleo implants?) The surgeon said he would not go any bigger than the 270 and no smaller than the 240. I am having the full anchor lift with 'dual plane' or partial unders procedure.
My problem is that I am currently a very droopy 36B and with the lift obviously some size will be taken away to start off because of the removal and redistribution of breast tissue. So I am a bit worried that 240s will be too small?
I know that then most of you would say 'then go for the 270s' but in my consult I asked the surgeon to be really frank and I asked the question: 'Given what you can do as a surgeon and with your experience, can you tell me which of either the 240s or the 270s will give me a better deal in SHAPE and give me that perky look I'm after?' He replied that the smaller, 240s would allow him the better shape.
Now since I am more concerned about shape after having 'socks with stones in' for the last 12 years I agreed on the 240s. But I have since spoken to many many women and seen loads of comments on here where people are disappointed that they didn't go bigger! I am a 36B and even though I don't want to be really big, I do at least want to be a nice, full D cup. I was told though that the 240s would give me a C/D cup and the 270s would give me a D/DD cup. So especially with people saying they wish they had gone bigger I am panicking. One girl said she was a 34C cup to start and had 260s which took her to a 34D at first, but that they then shrunk back down a size after a few weeks!
I am so confused it seems that some people are like an A and have 240s which takes them up 2/ 2 and a half cup sizes or so and others are bigger to start, have the same sized implants and get LESS of an enlargement!?.....and vice verca! There just is no telling here. :-(
Sorry for the ramble but what do you guys suggest? Do I just trust the expert and settle for the shape rather than size? Or in your experience will i be disappointed going with the smaller ones??? I just really want a nice, full, perky pair of D cup boobs and it almost seems like that's too much to ask!!!?
Help me!
Apologies again for the longness but any input would be gold to me right now.

Go for the bigger ones, if you don't you will be dissappointed and wish you had. If not disspointed you will always wonder. Mine were massive post op and have shrunk down considerably and I had the same procedure. You've seen my pics before, have another look, I've got some 8 weeks ones on there aswell now if you haven't seen those.
Good luck, bet you can't wait xxx

Awwwww thank you Sarah.
God though I just am worried about what Adam said about shape. I trust everything he says so I just keep getting scared they won't look as good with the bigger ones- all coz of what he said about shape! lol! But I am thinking you're right too.....

Re: EMERGENCY! Sizing Dilemma and just DAYS to go!!!
I say go for the bigger ones too. I only had a BA and no uplift but started off a 34a/b and had 340cc and am only wearing a C cup sports bra at the moment. Now, I am hoping for the fluffing fairy to pay me a visit cos I, like you, would love to be wearing a D cup.
I was also deliberating between the two sizes of 340cc and 370cc both my surgeon said I could have, but decided to stay with the 340cc as I didn't want to end up too top heavy. However, I really wish I'd been braver and gone for the 370cc!!
Hope this helps

Re: EMERGENCY! Sizing Dilemma and just DAYS to go!!!
.x. in reality 30ccs is hardly anything at all, i don't see how such a small increase in implant size would make the 270s more likely to drop and sag any more than the 240s so I would go for the larger option in your situation....i was the opposite and went for the smaller ones out of the 230s and 260s i was offered but i wanted to not be TOO big as my frame is so small. If you are more worried about being dissapointed with going to small I'd opt for the bigger one even though in reality the difference in the 2 sizes, 30ccs is minimal xx

Re: EMERGENCY! Sizing Dilemma and just DAYS to go!!!
I am not speaking from personal expericence as im still pre BA, but i would go for bigger too! There is not much different in CC really. I have had the same doubts as you will size so i can say i know what you going through, it a nightmare!! I have left it up to my PS to decide on the day between 390 + 410 cc high profile (uneven breasts) and 425 + 445 ultra high profile. I am a 36a/aa to start with and want to be a D/DD cup. Someone once said to me when i was deciding that bra sizes are weird as someone with a 30DD cup is the same as a 36B!!!! Strange
But everyone is different. Sorry if have not been much help, Im sure ur PS knows the look you want to achieve.

Go for the larger of the two! Hardly any difference in cc size so without a question I would go for the larger of the two - good luck for your op! xxxx

Re: EMERGENCY! Sizing Dilemma and just DAYS to go!!!
personally i'd want to bigger implant. I'd hate thinking i wish i went bigger after spending the money but could happily adjust to boobs bigger than i expected. haha.
But follow your heart in making the decision xx

Different outlook - I went for the smaller of the implants I was offerred and got way more than I bargained for (couldve happily gone smaller again in fact!) so I think you will be happy with the result ... a few cc wouldnt enough to change cup size Im sure.

Re: EMERGENCY! Sizing Dilemma and just DAYS to go!!!
if u are unsure i would say go with the bigger size, i was a 32A pre op and had 260cc overs, even tho ive been measured as a 32DD i only look a C max. if i could do it all again i would def go bigger xx

Re: EMERGENCY! Sizing Dilemma and just DAYS to go!!!
I would personally go for the larger implant hun, there is only a difference of 30cc which is nothing!! Remember they always look smaller once they are in you too hun! I was 34a pre op and had 470s and thought they would be massive but they arent, i am measured at a 32ff but no way look that big, i look about a dd. Remember augmented boobs always measure bigger than they look! I personally think you will regret it after your op for not going with the 270s hun. When I have my next op, knowing what I know now, I want to go a lot bigger. xx

I'm sure you will get a great result with the 240s, at the end of the day, just think that they are going to be a great improvment anyway, well thats how I thought of it, good luck for the 5th xx

Re: EMERGENCY! Sizing Dilemma and just DAYS to go!!!
Thank you all of you for all your input on that but I am back and all done!
They had already ordered the 240CCs so I had to go with them. But i am very happy regardless because they have been transformed into the loveliest, perkiest boobs ever! Compared to what I am used to having these are just amazing to the point where I cannot stop looking at them in the mirror! lol!
Only problem is that I feel fatter than ever and have ALREADY started to pile on the pounds after ONE week indoors and eating like a pig! Noooooooo!
Oh well.

Re: EMERGENCY! Sizing Dilemma and just DAYS to go!!!
I think the size difference is so minimal that going for the bigger size wouldn't have made much difference. Perhaps its a good thing that the decision has been made for you. AT is a great surgeon with fantastic reputation for uplifts so I'm sure the 240s will be just perfect for you. xx
