Bra dilemma
Hi guys
I'm 7 week post op and the surgeon has given me the all clear to wear normal bra's (avoiding wires still!)
I'm finding them really uncomfortable despite having a fitting, and pining for my sports bra! Anyone else have the same dilemma :-(

Re: Bra dilemma
I transferred from sportsbras to wires but had the exact same problem babe. My boobs would ache and I couldn't wear them for very long.
I had to gently 'break them in' by starting off wearing the bra for a couple of hours for a few days, then back into the saftey of my sportsbra. I built up the time I wore the normal bras over a number of months until I was able to go a full day with no aches.
I feel for some of us that although we may get the all clear to wear bras, whether that be wired or non-wired, our boobs may just not be ready for that yet and so breaking them in gently is the way to go to enable you to be able to wear what you want when you want to.
We're not at all alone in this lovely. This is more common that you might think but eventually, over time you WILL be able to wear any bra you'd like to. Xx

Ah thanks cookie
I was getting worried there was a problem with my boobs!
I keep popping the sports bra on as soon as I'm home from work!
It's like putting a nice pair of slippers back on

Re: Bra dilemma
Lol it is
7 years on and although I can wear what I like for as long as I like, I still prefer the comfort of a sportsbra and that's the bra I'm mostly in when I'm at home. Xx
