Bra dilemma
I'm off to a bbq tomorrow and would like to wear a maxi dress I bought pre BA and haven't worn yet. It is not going to look great with sports bra tho, so have been wondering if i could wear my wonderbra miracle hands one? Do you think this would be okay just for a few hours?

Re: Bra dilemma
No I don't babe. Not if you've been advised to be wearing a sports bra. Sorry hun, that probably wasn't what you wanted to hear I know... maybe you could ring your clinic and see if it's OK with them. xx
Re: Bra dilemma
I agree with Cookie I'm afraid. I know it's not underwired but it is still quite stiff and structured ... sorry xx

Re: Bra dilemma
I knew myself I shouldn't but was starting to convince myself that it would be fine and needed someone to talk sense into me . Will just stick to something that covers the sports bra.

Re: Bra dilemma
Pain in the bum isn't it! I've had a couple of nights out and had to find tops to cover the oh so unattractive sports bra... never mind - it'll all be worth it in the end :)

Re: Bra dilemma
I can totally sympathise with you,
I'm having a birthday night out in a couple of weeks and I've had to buy a dress that I really wouldn't usually wear to hide the sports bra x x

I cannot wait to be able to go braless! So many tops would look better that way but I've never had the boobies for it. Will be sooo great

Re: Bra dilemma
Yes i wore a lot of strapless tops and dresses this year for the first time ever!! Feels fab. Dresses with spaghetti straps too. Hang on in there with the sports bra, it will be worth it xxx

Re: Bra dilemma
I bought a strapless elastic bandeau style bra from Peacocks which was still supportive and not wired. I wore this for a night out when I was 4-5 weeks post op but I changed straight into my sports bra afterwards.
I definitely wouldn't wear anything wired or that Wonderbra as it has the metal fingers in it. Ouchie!

Re: Bra dilemma
I'm going to just wear jeans and a vest top so that my sports bra isn't majorly on show. Will just have to be patient and wear my maxi when I can go braless, which will look best in it, and then I'll look fab with my totally healed boobies. It's really not worth risking my healing for one day.
Thanks for all your input ladies.
