Bra dilemma!
Hiya,
I'm now 4 weeks post op, and am continuing to wear the macoms I bought before my operation. I've been having quite a bit of soreness all around my boobs, which hasn't changed much in the past two weeks.
I just realised that maybe my macom bras aren't supportive enough which is causing the pain, as they are a little on the loose side around my ribcage. When I first wore them after my op they were quite snug due to the swelling in my ribs, but now they undo at the top during the night, and I'm worried that they aren't supporting my boobs as they should be at this stage!
Would it be ok to buy a couple of cheap sports bras that are tighter and more supportive, and wear those until I see my ps in 2 weeks? Or do you think its probably not necessary, and its ok to wear the macoms even if theyre a little looser now?
Thanks for your thoughts ladies!

I'm using M&S ones, which fit really well. Pack of two high impact sports ones about £25 I think. I tried a few other brands but these were the best for me x Hope you enjoy your shopping trip x

Re: Bra dilemma!
I was told not to wear a sports bra but rather a support bra. I go the Asda post-surgery support bras following a reccommendation from someone but I dodn;t really rate it now to be honest. Its loose in the middle and although it supports the outside my boobs, it doesn't seem to be suportting the inside. Sorry - that's not exactly a reccommendation, more of a not-a-reccommendation!

Re: Bra dilemma!
Silver panther,
Did you get the two pack for £25 or the zip up one for £22.50? I've been wearing the £25 ones and they've been fab but treated myself to the zip up £22.50 one today, extreme impact I think but it's soooooo supportive so if you get used to the support of the other ones and need something more supportive I can recommend this one. Loads of the girls have it on here its the black with leopard print trim, I've got the white one with pink trim. I do a lot of running (well did pre BA) and think this one will def keep the twins secure x x
