I have mine booked for 24th October.

Will they take my bloods? I have the worst veins in history and hate having my bloods done! Pre-Op Assesment/ Medical Icon_evil

I am taking my best friend with me- is this another chance to dicuss implant size etc with the nurse? I'm actually taking her because she's really worried about me having my boobs done and I want to re-assure her a little bit Pre-Op Assesment/ Medical 375568

I'm booked in with Tranform- anyone had their pre-op well before the op (mine is 6 weeks before)- what should I expect? Is this the last time I will have to travel to the clinic before BA Day? The clinic is 2 hours away and I have to get tubes etc which I hate doing with a buggy!

I had bloods taken at my pre op hun, didn't go with transform but they usually do. I never had a chance to discuss sizes with a nurse, it's usually with the surgeon or pc. Places might be different though

Tell them you have had problems with having blood taken in the past and you would rather have a phlebotomist (specialist in taking blood) take them instead of a regular nurse.
I had to do this at my GP's, the nurses can never find the vein and they just keep jabbing me with the needle, frankly it makes me want to cry, but when the phlebotomist did it, she had it over and done with before I could complain 👍

Hey lovely,

I went via Tranform in New Cavendish and I didn't have bloods taken, just pre-op photos, a few screening questions and that was it.

It should be the last visit with them before your op, you'll need to see the nurse then surgeon twice more after.

Hi hun, I had my pre-op done last week (5 weeks before my ba). They asked medical questions, weight, height and took blood pressure and pics but no bloods taken.
The nurse didn't talk size with me but I arranged to see my pc afterwards and she had the implants with her so we had a chat about size xxx

I've not had a pre op either, are we meant to? When I had my last consult i did ask my ps if there was anything else and he said no he'd just see me on the day.
