should I mention my disappointment with size to my ps? 375568 On Tuesday I have my 6 week check-up with my ps, Mr Sorensen, which is a bit early, just under 5 weeks after my BA, but he is away after that.

I am happy with the look of them, the shape is great and the whole experience, including his warm and reassuring manner with me as I was terrified, was much better than I could have hoped for. But I have been disappointed with the size they have ended up, as you know. Mia and Katie said to try and be patient and I have, and I have also been trying to be positive because I am so lucky to have some boobs now. I also feel lucky when I know some people have complications and problems.

Been trying to reason with myself - I know it is boobie greed which a lot of women have, but I think with me it is because the ps suggested the 310 implant and I chickened out. I should have listened to him and others on this site who said go for the bigger one. Also, I feel it is my only chance to have bigger boobs because of my age! I just wish so much that I had gone for the biggest possible, the 310 instead of the 270, which has brought me to a not very noticable C cup.

Everyone else's boobs seem to look much bigger than mine, but perhaps I am being over critical of mine. The woman who did my complementary lymphatic drain treatment at the clinic said I could have gone bigger, which upset me. It was really tactless of her when I had said I regretted not choosing the bigger implant.

Sorry I am waffling on, but just not sure whether to say I am slightly disappointed to Mr Sorensen, or whether to leave it and just wait to see how I feel in a few months. I have even been thinking of trying to save up and go larger!

What should I do?

p.s. Another reason why I think I was slightly disappointed with the size was, that I started off a 34AA, but had macrolane in December which brought me to a small B cup. Going from a small B cup to a C is not that dramatic, but I should remember that I was originally as flat as an ironing board!

Ive had dreaded boobie greed too so know how it feels! but when i actually thought to myself i realised i was just being silly.

270 to 310's isnt a massive difference at all i would wait for a while to see how they settle unders take anything up to a year to change as the muscle can still be quiet tight for a while and 6 weeks is early days maybe see how you feel in a few months time.

should I mention my disappointment with size to my ps? Icon_lol Thanks bock and cakey baby, you are both right that I should wait and see what they are like in a while. Maybe I will fluff and get a little bigger, and I guess wearing a sexy, push up bra will help!

You are right that I am being a bit silly too, and I do feel bad for grumbling and being disappointed. I do finally have some boobs! should I mention my disappointment with size to my ps? 204135 (perhaps not quite as big as this!)

Arrrrrr hun... it is sooo hard isn't it... I was sooo worried about being small too... small and flat as I was having low profiles.... noone knows what they are gonna end up with do they... I personally would mention that you feel a little disappointed at the mo... see what they say... but I do believe that the fluffing fairy does wonders.... I bet they are lovely!! We are all soo critical of our boobies... it is only when someone on here says they are a lovely shape or wow... they look natural... whichever button hits your note... that we come to see they are gorgeous... well it helped me....from what I have read in the little time here.. I think we get use to them.... I have no say I am finding mine scary right now as they are not what I was expecting either... but some positive words and yep I am getting there.... I don't see why mentioning what your thinking/feeling will harm..of course... the size was your choice.... so they will not have any responsibility. I also was offered 2 sizes last minute and I was going to go for the smaller ones as there was only 30cc difference... the lady nurse that was chatting to me whilst one of each size wasv in my bra said it will hardly make a difference.... it did not seem a big deal in her eyes.

You will get there in the end.... your new boobies and you will become good friends... I tried on a few tops last night with no bra.. wow i felt sexy for the first time... give it a go... I felt like we were bonding... mwah.

Hi Sasha!!

Yes!!! is my initial response to your question!! If you dont mention......how will you feel? I am sure your P.S. wants you to be happy with results too, and by talking through your concerns it may enable you to feel better. Also, if you ask him to explain any changes you can exspect with time, at least you will have a professional opinion. You could also discuss re-op to go bigger, and the pros, cons and cost of this. Then you will have the answers to mull over, and then decide what is best for you.

I do understand what you are saying and feeling...it is NOT silly or selfish, think we all have similar thoughts. What is important is how YOU feel!!

I am happy with my results...just to have some boobs...it is fab, that was my intention. I dont want anyone to look or notice them but, I dont want anyone to look and notice bones and lack of anything....if that makes sense?? That fits with my age, being a mum and quite reserved. However, I think I have a secret side to me...I would like to have bigger boobs and not be soo reserved and be able to look bigger...that wont happen ...I know, but I can daydream should I mention my disappointment with size to my ps? Icon_lol .....I blame all the young fab looking girlies on here for that... bringing out a different me....they all look great ...but they are twenty or thirty years younger than me should I mention my disappointment with size to my ps? 375568
Aw Well back to dreaming for me, unless I can turn the clock back!!

All the best for consultation Sasha, it is the opportunity for you to move forward...be thinking of you! Let us know how you feel after. should I mention my disappointment with size to my ps? 571992 xxxx

Hi,

I would mention it to him and see what he says but unfortunately, because you chose the smaller size, I doubt whether he would do anything about it. If he told you you would get to a size that you haven't then I assume they would re-operate. Sorry if this sounds harsh!

I think that you will fluff hun. I got bigger at 6 weeks and then at 10 weeks. I had overs, but I know that unders take a while to settle and fluff too.

I would mention it and see what he says, but I would also give it more time, as the risks are always there.... at least if you have mentioned it now he knows how you feel at this moment in time.

I know nothing about fluffy being amateur myself, but all the girls talk about it, if they dont' fluff in 6 months then see him again and whey up the pros/cons.... put your duckies ina a row so to speak (sorry nicked that expression from Michas on here!)

I think you will fluff hun. It doesn't happen over night and not straight away. I have only just fluffed really and i had my op in April. I think its natural to think that they are not that big. I always look at other's boobs and think they look bigger then mine. But people think mine are big when they see them?? I also don't think that going for the 310 will make a huge amount of difference - not the big difference that you are thinking of anyway. I would just advise you relax, wait for a couple of months to really get used to them. Remember they look totally different in normal bra's.

I don't think yours PS would be able to do anything about it now either, because at the end of the day he suggested you could go bigger, but ultimately you made the decision and agreed to the 275. 5 weeks really isn't long at all - i know it seems ages but it's so early to be making any decisions.

should I mention my disappointment with size to my ps? 321562 Thanks everyone for your replies, it is sweet of you all to take the time to reply. Mia, you always give such good advice to me and others!

I didn't see all your messages before I went to see my ps after work, but I did mention to him that I was sorry I chose the smaller size and felt they were smaller than I had hoped for. Mr Sorensen is such a lovely guy, (and fairly dishy too, as was my anaesthetist when I had my BA), and I really had a nice, friendly chat with him. I would never try and blame him at all, it was my decision, probably partly because of my age, nervous about being too big, thinking of my daughters...

I also said to Mr Sorensen, who is a very experienced and capable sugeon, that I was pleased with the shape, the fullness, and with whole experience. He was pleased too and said they looked very natural. He, and all the nurses, have been so great!

Mr Sorensen agreed that I could have gone bigger, (I think he felt they were on the small side), and he said we would review the size in 4 -5 months. We didn't talk in detail about a re-op, but he hinted that I could think about it. Obviously I would have to pay for it (eeek!) as he is not responsible at all.

Anyway, I will be patient, I do love them and am trying not to compare with other people's boobs. You do get a bit obsessed with boobs when you have a BA, looking at other women's and guessing cup sizes (I think I'm an expert at that now), and I think you forget what you started with - and mine were so awful before!

So thanks again everyone! I'll see how they are in 6 months! Maybe when I buy some sexy bras I'll feel better too.
