Being so impatient
I'm not sure whether I'm just getting used to my new boobs or I want them bigger but I'm praying they fluff.
They are still quite hard and very pointy, even though I love my new boobs I do wonder if they'll get bigger.
How long post op did they take to soften and stretch?

Re: Being so impatient
I noticed a real improvement on mine around the 4 week mark by 9 they were wobbling all over the shop!!!
When they soften up they will feel alot more real. I cant say mine have really got any bigger OR smaller since the op. When you can get them into a ''proper bra'' you will see the size prop ull prob be surprised how big they can look.

Re: Being so impatient
Mmmm, think I'm a bit like that too, the little bit of swelling has gone down and I.m getting used to them, also, I am sure sports bras kind of 'squash' them and don't flatter them. Told myself this morning that at least it's an improvement!!

Once you're over the sportsbra phase...about 6 weeks, they will change daily. Always looking better! xx

Re: Being so impatient
I agree, I thought mine looked small until I got measured at 4 weeks and put on a nice underwired bra (which I didn't wear until 6 weeks). Just wait til about 4 weeks post op and you will notice a difference.

I wouldn't be gutted if they didn't get bigger, which is good.

Glad you seem happy with them Jemmy. It is just one big waiting game, isn't it, from the time you book..then even when you have your ba you don't see the finished result for aaaaaages .
But if you're pleased with them now, all the changes to come are bound to be positive..you're gonna love them even more!! xxx

Re: Being so impatient
Hi Jem, sounds like you've still got some swelling if they are still high and pointy. I found they softened about 4 weeks and fluffed the first time at 6 weeks and 7 weeks after my reop!
Glad you're happy with the size tho xxx

nads wrote:Fluffing is when your muscle/skin relaxes and allows the implant to drop into place and expand a little. If under the muscle, the implant will takes its full shape after the muscle relaxes and goes back to normal. Some people gain size some people lose and some stay the same x

Re: Being so impatient
I spoke to my friend yesterday who had the same surgeon as me and said that she felt the same as me but hers did get bigger and are still changing 7 months post op.
I'm very happy that I never went for the bigger size as it wouldn't look natural on me so no regrets there!

Yes, don't worry, lots of changes to come! I seem to have gone up a size in the last month or so, so I'm sure you'll end up with what you were hoping for ..

Re: Being so impatient
I'm sure they will fluff hun - mine didn't exactly change size but I can tell the muscle has relaxed and I definitely fill out my bras better now that they've softened. It does take time though so try and be patient! lol
